I dont think its a dick move to say that , but I do think its a bit more complicated than that. Bioware is in a difficult situation, and while I desperately want a return to the Bioware we all loved (KOTOR, ME and ME2, DA:O) those days are done. With EA at the helm making decisions based on monetization , and Bioware

I think I can explain, as this has little to do with the game itself. Speaking broadly, the people who are the biggest fans of Bioware games don’t have a lot of interest in a Destiny-style loot grinder. What they want is a bigger, deeper Mass Effect. In an era where nobody is making that kind of 3p action-RPG that

I agree, we should be calling it what it really is, a Bioware killer.

-I’m here for murder, you?

hahaha. I know! Garrus... I as tired and in my head I kept hearing Garrek which I know is a Cardassian from Star Trek. So I decided the game was old enough that I plum forgot the names of all the characters.

Or that can have two children of different genders for the assassin guy....and they sibling you are not play as go into a straight relation ship with one of them if you say no to making a family.

I totally empathize with most of the feelings swirling around about all this, but the accusation surrounding the “Growing Up” achievement/trophy is a severe stretch. There are many more clear and obvious reasons for that trophy title, and that it was used to demean LGBT community is by far the least likely feasible

On the one hand, the conceit of the Animus is that the person you’re playing is really someone in the future sitting in a device “diving” into their genetic memory of their ancestor. You aren’t actually playing Kassandra; you’re playing her descendant who is playing Kassandra. No bloodline, no connection.

Except these characters are “ancestors”, which implies they had coitus with opposite sex. So not exclusively gay, no.

I donno... If the next God of War or Halo games forces the player into a gay marriage, I’m willing to bet there would be a lot less respect.

Hmm, I thought we had the most expensive health care system in the world because we have the best healthcare system in the world. Why is Paul leaving the country for hernia surgery when we get the best care right here in the U.S.?

Think he got that hernia from pulling them bootstraps too hard?

First she came for the twinks, and I said nothing, because I was not a twink.

Except the flag isn’t even connected with the military. The flag/shirt are basically very Japanese-looking and that’s apparently enough to warrant being “painful” for people to look at. It’s absolutely ridiculous and petty. It is possible for people to be offended for no good reason and they shouldn’t expect to be

Yeah this is dumb. If Hollywood keeps bending over and censoring every thing one group finds offensive, eventually every movie will be a bland life-lifeless husk that, while not offending anyone, will also not have any meaning or real life texture imbued in it. Long story short censorship is the death of art.

Eventually, people will need to move on. We’re becoming a world where optics is everything and substance is nothing.

One day each person will create its own single person society cause everything will be offensive.

I think it is because we (for the most part) understand that who they were then is not who they are now. Meanwhile if someone flies a confederate flag nowadays there is a decent chance that person still believes the things that the confederate flag stood for during the civil war.

Dear people who are always getting offended at everything,

Gotta get offended by something so why not about flag
