I was in NJ for 17 years and now I’m in Washington. As I said, no History Teacher worth a damn even uses the textbook now. You have access to all manner of primary sources, so why use a dumbed down compedium of errors and bias?

Look at these fools, ragging on a 9-year-old when they don’t even have the reading-comprehension skills to realize that this was a JOURNAL entry. You know, where you express your personal thoughts and relate them to the lesson.

That is still what is being taught in my nieces’ schools. I also see textbooks posted regularly with the same ish.
