Taco culture in Mexico is insane, the best places offer a ton of toppings, I’m talking about chopped radish, fresh cucumbers, onions, parsley, beans, potatoes, etc.

That’s nice, honestly sharing food culture is great and I’d wish it could make a bridge to make us understand, but alas things aren’t always that easy.

Text-Mex food is so different from traditional Mexican food from what I’ve tasted, at this point I think is less Mexican and more part of the USA at this point, I’m not saying is not good, but it’s way off from the base Mexican style that it’s kind of its own.

Mexico got a great food culture, there’s a saying that goes “Todo lo que corra, salte y vuela a la cazuela” meaning, anything is food (of course not talking about unsanitary stuff), but like, we eat lots of greens, animals like insects, roots, etc.

I’m a Mexican living in Mexico and I’m amazed ppl in the USA eat Mexican Food that is not sold in Taco Bell, like ok I know enchiladas are sold in some places, but that’s like the most basic of basics.
