I agree too. I used to be a hardcore mustang fan, and would make fun of imports. The more i learned, the more I wanted what I would ridicule. Now I am restoring an AE86

wait, we still occupy? occupy the bathroom!
Smartphones. If there is one thing that has really changed my family(to make it personal), it has been smart phones. During family dinners, my cousins are always on them. The younger they are, the more they are hooked in. They think I'm the stupid one for messing with cars! I fear for the next generation.
space jam. lol
lol, even better, GT86 and AE86 in one garage!
I'm surprised it is that cheap. After a few years, a used stick shift might be a tempting buy, especially if the car gets a second version. Its what I want, small, sport, fun, and probably decent on gas. I plan on getting one when I get out of college, it would look nice next to my probably then "classic" AE86 and my…
Already have started on this situation. I remember getting burned hard in 2008, when gas was close to 5 bucks a gallon in California, I think calculated it to be cheaper for me to stay at home unemployed, then fill up my mustang GT and go to work! I have always been fearful of that happening again, so I picked up an…
I'm glad i picked up one of these. Doing a full engine rebuild, haven't even driven the car(it was a very dead engine). Sure its a base SR5, and the coupe(I have grown to like the body style though), I have been wanting one of these cars for years.
Ae86. The newest is at least 24years old, and drifting doesn't take kindly to a 25 year old car. I was lucky to score one for 400, all complete. just not running :(
read about this in the paper a few days ago, car should go ot the musem.
lol, intresting, i clicked this link while listening to the inital D soundtrack, one of my favorite shows!
@Roberto Grijalva: i would love to have one of these as a DD. trying to find one that is unmolested thought is the real trick
what do they plan on running with, hopes and dreams?
what i have gotten from the gran turismo series was a very japanese friendly line up, isn't the game and the company that makes it based in japan? I remember the first GT was over 50% japanese cars, so their probably is some national pride in having your countries cars be more represented.
man, i have been wanting to find a clean AE86 for a while
and they say older buicks aren't exciting
ya know, i was at a toyota dealership recently, and there was no one there. true, the other lots didnt quite have a lot of people either, but i mean there was no potential customers there at all.
@P161911 probably shoudn't have: or a whimpy younger brother
1994 Buick lesabre. i serisouly felt like the coolest kid in school, because i wasnt dropped off in a minivan
1986 mustang gt. two tone white and gray, 4 eye, 55k original mles. and T tops. for 2500. 5.0l with a 5 speed. from a dealer. good i was stupid, i should have just learned how to drive stick on the way home, curse me.
