"executive director of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists Donna J. Harrison "

"Plus that treatment was written and shot by a female director, who's a feminist.'

I listened to BBC for the short program and CBC for the free skate. The short program is what really bugged me. That 2 1/2 point difference was unbelievable. This article goes into further detail about some weirdness in the scoring from one of the anonymous judges:

They did not deserve that Gold. Virtue and Moir were flawless. Even the commentators were baffled at those scores. Pair that with the stories last week about the Ice Dance competition being rigged in favour of the Americans, and you've got a pretty undeserving win. Canada is always at the losing end of these rigging

I didn't even realize it was her until I read the description. She is almost unrecognizable. I'm not sure if it's weight loss or plastic surgery, but she looked so much better as Julie Taylor.

There was a story here last year where a rape victim got in some legal trouble for publicly identifying out her rapists when she felt that she wasn't going to get justice in court. I seem to remember it being because the rapists were minors, or because there was a media black-out about the case. I'm not sure if

This is one of the reasons that I am glad the Joannie Rochette chose not to participate this year. If you don't remember, she's the Quebec figure skater whose mother died the day she was supposed to perform in Vancouver, and she ended up performing anyways and getting a Bronze medal. It was all the Canadian media

I wish there were better journalism standards on writing about rape and sexual assault. One of my local papers keeps writing"non-consensual sex" when describing rape, and no matter how many complaints about it, they won't change it.

This law obviously isn't meant to protect the rape victims, but rather the rapists. It's bullshit.

This is infuriating.

Is it just me, or do the categories "being her own woman" and "value to the president" conflict?

Off topic, but when did Harry become the cute brother?

Neil Young is just disappointing. He's not even American.

Just googled Joey Lawrence to make sure, because he was the love of my teenage self, and he endorses Trump for president. Excuse me while I go puke up everything I had to eat today.

I haven't really looked at Melissa Joan Hart the same way since I found out she was a Romney-supporter. She seemed like one of the least likely republicans in Hollywood.

John Henson's death is just heartbreaking. Apparently he was home alone with his young daughter when it happened. It's kind of disappointing that his death is hidden several points into a (meaner than usual, by the way) Dirt Bag. I hope Jez or even Gawker does a longer write-up about this.
