Tortoises are winter hibernators and I wonder why it is in the snow for a photo op. Not great for a cold blooded reptile.

Might be worth consulting with a lawyer, if there is any argument that he didn’t receive any Medicaid benefits (i.e., Medicaid didn’t pay his providers) after he became income ineligible. Most legal aid organizations have an attorney who deals with Medicaid issues.

Good friend of mine had quad bipass surgery 20 years ago. He was in his late 60s and quite overweight. The surgery scared him straight. He changed his diet, began exercising, and went so far as to run a couple marathons. He’s still happy and active, though he no longer runs marathons.

I think the fact that you bucked the system at your current job because you valued the safety and education of the patients is AMAZING and would really work in your favor. Anybody who puts patients above “how it’s been done” is somebody who a place like CC would want.
