If I give you meth will you obsessively clean my place?

Hi Madeleine... LEAD. In this case it’s never “led.” However there are a few of us willing to make sure you’re led to the correct spelling/usage.
Is it sometimes referred to as ‘led’ and not ‘lead’? Am I losing it? Or still drunk from last night? Has my home filled with carbon dioxide and caused me to finally abandon the tenuous grip I’ve painstakingly maintained with reality until this moment?
Eh - I think both women look great. Different, but both great.
This was probably Trump’s way of cutting the electricity bills for his billionaire buddies.
I think my original post probably came off as more certain of the background true story. But let’s look at it this way.
Kind of sad to go back and read the article on Fatty H. Reading the comments about how it was an injustice that his career ended and how it was obvious that he was set up or was proven innocent. Since those comments are 6 years old, that means before 2017 where I could see some trolls using this as an opportunity to…
Those are kindergarten questions. You need to ask her about her hypocrisy, starting by pointing to her statements regarding maternity/paternity leave and how she actually doesn’t practice what she preaches, etc. If you say HS students are smart, stop being condescending to them with those frivolous questions.
Joke.
I’ve only been in there because it has air conditioning. Florida gets really hot.
I don’t see how anyone needs faith that meditation will be beneficial. You try it, attempt to do it in the way that works best for most people, and it either helps you or it doesn’t No faith needed.
Meditation doesn’t have to involve faith in anything. It doesn’t involve belief in a diety or anything supernatural. Anyone can do it.
The further back you go in history, the less people understood about the world. As we have reality-based explanations for more things, “faith” and a belief in anything supernatural becomes less necessary. The supernatural just becomes...natural.
Nah. If you can get the same result without the idea of a religious entities existence, then the spirit part is just window dressing for a healthy practice. For instance, I will occasionally do a sensory deprivation tank. It’s relaxing as fuck and really helps me think. These are good things, but work without the need…
I agree. Let these folks have their spiritual beliefs and folk remedies. So what if they don’t seek out medical advice because they hold false beliefs and die prematurely. That’s their right May that entire community immerse itself in false beliefs and lower their average life expectancy by dying of curable diseases.…
The reason is that science can’t explain everything and dumb people need answers to important questions and refuse “we don’t know yet” as acceptable.
Archetypal stories are part of human nature. Not necessarily religion. For instance, the Harry Potter series better illustrates archetypal story telling than pretty much all the major religions. Shakespeare does a good job that way as well.
At Huber’s trial, three witnesses, including a former bookkeeper, testified that she cropped dogs’ ears on her kitchen counter without following proper veterinary procedures, Delano said. Huber herself testified that the procedure was necessary to give her show dogs a “winning edge” in the ring, Graham said.
Really, there is no conflict here at all. She committed animal cruelty and deserves to be prosecuted, even by the horrific standards of show dog breeder mutilation of animals.
Yeah, chopping off bits of ears and tails for reasons other than medical necessity should be illegal. The only reason these dogs used to have this done was so that the animals they hunted couldn’t bite their ears or tails. That’s no longer a concern and the breed standards should be altered.
