I got my first Diva Cup this year, after reading about menstrual cups in Jezebel comment threads for years.  I did my research by watching a bunch of youtube videos that explained all the different brands, shapes, and sizes.  A lot of those videos were made by girls who looked too young to vote.  So maybe that’s how

This message brought to you by the National Milk Producers Federation.

I’ve been drinking soymilk and various nut milks for twenty years but never heard of oat milk until Oatly started placing ads in some of my podcasts (the ads are delightfully self-effacing). I tried it for the first time a couple weeks ago, and it’s really good! Usually nut milks come in plain or vanilla, sweetened or

Imagine the influence he could have if he publicly retracted his anti-vax stance in a speech like this one....

Yup. And it’s kind of funny, because the whole reason for doing the cartwheel-thingy before hitting the springy-thingy is so you can be facing backward instead of forward when you hit the sideways horsey-thingy, but since she does the half turn, she ends up facing forward anyhow, which means she might as well not even

Keep in mind that upper body strength is integral to gaining height off the vault or floor. When your hands hit (vault or floor), your arms are straight and you do this explosive “shrug” motion with your shoulders (called “blocking”), and that rockets you upward. It’s like having a bungee cord suspension system in

I had that issue on my laptop, but everything worked on my smartphone.

Old gymnast here. One thing to consider before trying handstands is how you plan to come down if you kick up too hard and start to fall over backwards. (If you’re afraid of falling over backwards, you’ll be too hesitant to kick up with enough power to reach vertical and stay vertical.) You have a few options:

I listen to all the Pod Saves... America, the World, the People, plus Hysteria, Lovett or Leave It, Keep It, With Friends Like These, Crooked Conversations. The 3 white guys who founded Crooked Media make it a point to have women and POC on all the other podcasts, either as hosts or guests, or both. The other great

You know, I would, if they were boy shorts-length, instead of bikini-cut on bottom. Back when I was a gymnast, I didn’t have the cellulite and stretch marks I have now! They do make leotards with “legs” for little girls, but not for competition. Actually, it’s about time competitive gymnastics started re-evaluating

I’ve never dedicated this much time to watching someone verbally eviscerate an automobile before... and I think I enjoyed it!  I want this guy in my life, making videos about all the people, places and things I hate.

Or buy a less obnoxiously gargantuan vehicle.

At first I was confused and thought this must be fake, because why would you entitle a diary entry “2 Nights ago”?!!

Good riddance to bad rubbish!

You’re not a sucker; you’re the absolute best.  Slappy and friends thank you sincerely for the water.

I was a gymnast long ago, before the slick, shiny Spandex leotards were invented.  Throughout my adulthood, I’ve had recurring dreams in which I’m back in the gym and *finally* get a chance to wear a modern Spandex leo!  I’m always so disappointed when I wake up and realize there’s no new leo on the way.  Finally,

#7 must be in middle school by now. Something tells me that she probably hasn’t gotten away from all the drama, though.

I had to click through to Youtube to watch it, but it was worth it.  I’ll now hear “Mweap.” after each guitar riff in that song.

I misunderstood your original description. Clingfilm makes more sense, because it would stick to skin without the need of a headband. I’ve been using thin plastic produce bags; not very clingy; thus, the headband. :-)

Aha, I was imagining some combination of plastic wrap and a headband! I guessed right! And I agree with you about the Friday night/Monday morning thing. I really rub the mixture into my temples, where the baby grey hairs are so stubborn, and it does stain the edges of my face for a day or two! The indigo isn’t
