My wife and I recently bought a CPO Toyota Rav4 hybrid (about a month ago). We traded in a perfectly fine Acura but wanted a smaller and more fuel efficient vehicle (she is a nurse and travels a lot). We bought several weeks ago and were able to get a great trade in price on the Acura and some knocked off on the Rav4.

I actually think that Nissan’s styling is pretty cohesive at this point. Think of the new Versa and Sentra as 1/2 and 3/4 scale versions of the Altima. The design language is done actually quite well on the new models. The interior game has also stepped up. The Kicks sells well and is a nice funky update for the dowdy

I want to like it but there are some red flags. Put the damn rear bumper on so that the potential buyer can see what it looks like completed! (On the google drive , it shows the rear bumper with some impefections. Not in itself a deal breaker but seriously put it on it). Non functioning a/c probably not uncommon for

I’ll weigh in. My sister -in-law has one and it probably drives roughly 6 miles a day at low speeds.. It this capacity, the car will last forever. I drove it to my house to do a detail and was generally surprised at how awkward the transmission behaved in my short journey (bucking, getting stuck in neutral, etc). This

The only thing that happens faster is the rich dude who parks it in his collection to wait for the inevitable appreciation at a future auction.

Styling wise it was a good looking car (dare I say a smaller more Euro inspired 2nd Gen Camaro). Everything else form the lack of rust proofing, engines failing at staggering rates, and GM cheapening everything to make a profit doomed this car. My neighbor has an orange one that crapped out at about 30k. It sat in his

My next door neighbor and best friend growing up bought a cream colored version (with the dark brown landau roof) with the 2.3L. We thought it was cool for about 1 minute and then the sad reality is that is was a dog with questionable build quality. This was in the mid 1980's and he was hoodwinked by the looks of the

My only real experience with a Cars and Coffee event happen in two completely different venues. In Northern Virginia, I have attended Katie’s Cars and Coffee (Great Falls VA). This is very well organized, an astounding diversity of cars and there is a police presence nearby to discourage any overt hooligan behavior.

I had a 1992 9000CD (manual) in the late nineties. I paid $2500 for it and it ran perfectly for the time I owed it (about 2 years commuting to Philadelphia). There was and is an intangible quality of the car. Perhaps it was the solidity of the car’s structure or all day driving comfort. I could literally put hundreds

Ford did no favors with the DCT fiasco with the Focus/Fiesta models. So I understand not continuing with them. But the Fusion is competitive car with updated an updated safety suite, a variety of power trains, and nice (IMO) styling. I’m really thinking about a Fusion Hybrid as my next car for my completely

When I bought my daughter’s first car, I settled on a budget of around $5000,00. I found a Pontiac Vibe with 130k on the odometer. I didn’t even blink because the car had a full service history. I also took it in for its first oil change (I normally do this but it was January and freezing and found out that the prior

My now sister -in-law had a late 80's white exterior/maroon interior Beretta 3.1/ auto. It was her first car bought new with her own money. I had just receive my driver’s license and drove it a couple of times. For a fresh new 17 year old driver the Beretta felt fast. In reality it ran out of steam quickly (GM had an

I use them for work as well. All in all I do not mind it except that the interior (driver and passenger seat area) really feels small. I am also not a big guy, average height and weight. My coworker is over 6 feet tall and barely fits when he drives.

I was going to suggest the new Veloster but the VW may have it beat as far as the DSG transmission. I’m cautious because of VW’s previously terrible reliability ratings in the past but it seems that VW has turned the tide the past couple of years.

My longest commute was 67 miles each way. I was commuting from central Maryland all the down to southern Maryland (Calvert and St. Mary’s counties), I bought a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage ES for the commute. Luckily my shifts were early enough or late enough to avoid any major traffic but the time plus 12 hour shifts

I had a 93' Legacy GT wagon (2.2L) . It was incredibly reliable until it wasn’t (engine replacement at 190k do to the engine jumping time, despite the fact of timing belts replaced on schedule). It ate brake pads and never topped past 26mpg. However, it always plowed through any weather condition, had the easiest oil

Do you think that Acura will try this on other models? Or is this a possible test for further inclusion of PMC into Acura’s lineup producing limited edition cars of the current lineup? Who in your opinion would buy this new?

I live in central MD and commute primarily in MD/Northern Virginia. I have seen a shocking amount of them on the roads. ( at least 3 to 4 of them semi regularly).  I am just really curious of how this model was ever approved and who they thought the target buyer would be.

My sister-in-law has a 2015 Focus sedan. Now she literally drives in a total five mile loop from her house at low speeds(never more that 35mph).  I took it to detail it last year.(the car have 15k mileage). Forgive me for not knowing the trim, but it is a beautiful blue with alloys and loaded. I drove it to my house

I may be the self declared Mirage apologist. However, while the car is lagging in refinement to its competition, I find a certain endearing charm in the little hatch. This is the car the Jalops should love. It has a NA 3 cylinder engine that is stupid easy to work on, simple (port injection FTW) and reliable amd safe
