A friend has a manual transmission Caliber. His car is actually rather enjoyable especially compared to the CVT that is pared with the majority of Calibers.

1)My Dad talking me out of buying a MkII Golf instead on the sh!tbox 1988 1/2 Escort that I eventually bought. ( buy American in the 1980's was not the wisest move). This single piece of late 1980's American indifference to the customer turned me away from US made cars for 15 years. As an aside, I did learn a lot…
Analog watch orientation is this. Above the Equator , line up the hour hand with the sun, split the difference between 12 and the hour hand and that is due south. The opposite is true below the Equator( due north). IF located on the Equator, you're phuqued.
I was never into camping/hiking when I was a child. Later in life, I turned to camping/hiking as a respite from the stress of daily life. Howver, I was smart enough to travel with others who were far more experienced than me. I perused all the camping/hiking mags for appropriate advice and am not afraid to ask for…
Thanks for the replies. I had heard that the season veered off course, but I wanted more than one opinion.
A serious question. I have seen the first 3 seasons of True Blood. I have not seen the forth. How was the forth season? I plan on netflixing it soon.
By any chance, how does this compare to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe?
I did not know about that, so it is all cool over here.
I have 2 that serves me long and well. First was a 1993 Subaru Legacy GT wagon. I bought that in 1999 with 30k on it. I traded it in after being rear ended in 2003 with 250k on it.
Back in my law enforcement days, we would not even try to bother to chase a motorcycle for speeding. I had just set up my rear facing Radar ( I was parked in the median) when I heard the most incredible high pitched audible tone and my speed indicator was "ERRRR"(the radar top speed indicated was 155mph). So, these…
America F^%& Yeah!!!!
America F#@% yeah!!!!
Excellent story. My father was an electrical engineer by trade and had a superb mechanical knowledge. Yet, he never lifted a finger fixing his cars. I learned literally from neighbors and knowledgable friends how to wrench (this was in the 1980's well before internet forums). I am still thankful for the abundance of…
Wow, so a gaggle of Ferrari 458s and now a Lambo Aventador have burnt to ashes and yet this exists.
I like it. Tastefully done
I worked for two major airlines over a period of about 13 years. I have seen employees not paying attention and being blown completely off their equipment. One girl was driving a tug (non hardtop) and she entered the blast area too close. She was blown completely off of it and broke several ribs and an arm. …
This is definitely on my list. If you have not seen his previous documentary, then you need to see it. It is by far the most gripping documentary I have seen.
Just buy a second generation Mr2. It looks like a baby Ferrari with the reliability of Toyota. No fiberglass panels needed.
I completely agree with Richard Petty. He used to fly out of our airport on a pretty frequent basis. (I was a ramp agent then ramp manager for a major airline in the 1990=early 2000's). I never approached him for an autograph but I knew several other employees who would and he was always gracious. He also would…
As an aside, the Ford website is very easy to navigate. I like trying to see how low I could get a manual, diesel single cab config. F150. (surprisingly as of last year, I could order one). I also like Kia's design.
