Thanks for trying, but all I get at your link are back-to-back ads for A&W, then it loads/plays last season’s Jimmy Fallon episode. I tried it three times.

You would’ve hated my old Ranger, then. German engine & a Japanese tranny.
They were also exposed in the C6, the C5, the C4, and the C3. Unless they start making the body panels out of metal, I don’t see that changing. IMO, hiding the engineering with body coloured stickers is akin to covering the engine with a plastic shroud or painting carbon fibre.
Your last line sums up my feelings. One of Corvette’s famous features throughout its history are that its body panels are made of fibreglass, plastics, and other composites. Of course they need to be fastened on, and some of those fasteners will be exposed. It’s simply an aspect of its unique engineering.
It’s not a groundbreaking mod, but I’ve got my realistic California licence plates ready to go.
Thankfully, fullscreen is available on Rockstar’s site.

It’s a remix of “The Grip”, one of the original songs made for the game’s score by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No.
“I work behind the camera and I wouldn’t presume for one moment to think people are interested in what I do.”
Yep, Jalopnik even covered it.
The title isn't something like "Vettel Wins His First Race With Ferrari" with the pic of him with his finger up, it's "A Mercedes Didn't Win The Malaysian Grand Prix". That's already less direct than Deadspin's
Oh, it certainly does. A civilian model Taurus SEL 3.5L AWD has a curb weight of 4249 lbs. A similarly spec'd Explorer XLT 3.5L AWD comes in at 4697 lbs, 448 lbs heavier. The civilian Taurus is roughly 90% of the Explorer's weight, and that's not insignificant.
No, I don't think there are lots of differences in them. Identical engines, identical transmissions, identical optional AWD systems, even identical wheels. By your example, why would you expect more maintenance and upkeep on a FWD Tiguan than a Golf equipped with the same engine and transmission? The SUV obviously…
"...but for now, to be honest, I don't care. I want to celebrate today. I want to get pissed probably tonight, so, uh, I don't really care"
I figured there would be someone who said that. FYI: Black Flag doesn't do "spoilers".
