The '96 GTI had this awesome/awful seat upholstery. It's no Otmar Alt, but it's pretty '90s.

I'll blame the compression.

Except that it's not a 2016 expiry, it's a 1986 one just like in the movie. My guess is that it's one of the many replicas available to purchase. Judging by the lack of mounting holes and the incorrect font used on the "AUG" decal, this looks like the one.

This explains why there was so many Back to the Future references in this McLaren video from a few days ago:

I know that /DRIVE's business model had to change, and I understand why it did.

Saguenay is a small town. While they were working on my car, I heard stories of a car that was giving headaches to Subaru Canada and the dealer that I can't name or he will sue me.

Why didn't anyone tell me this months ago? And if he left /DRIVE, why is it still called /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS? Thanks for the heads up, Trek, but I'm still a little confused.

An HSE in Kaikoura Stone with Santorini Black roof and Almond interior. Climate Comfort Package and Audio Upgrade, that's it.

Others have said it, but I'll sum it up: 3 SNL cast members & 1 three-time SNL host.

The trio should all be making a whole bunch of money, but do you really care the exact amount? It's likely going to be more than anyone should ever deserve for larking about with your mates, and you'll just watch it on the iPlayer through the Hola Chrome extension, anyways.

The Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman shown here is de-badged, which makes me think that the producers of the series didn't want it to be identified as a Mercedes-Benz, which is sensible: a Benz in this context makes no sense. The car here is used as an official Japanese government vehicle, and using a Benz in this world for

If I had a dollar for every time someone called this a Tacoma...

I had the same "Body by Lamborghini, High Fidelity by Alpine" that Buzz Killington posted.

Tandy wasn't fazed much...

Similar design, but not the same.
