Dune up through God Emperor of Dune.

This isn't anything new for Catholicism. I was talking to my mother the other day about older teachings. In fact, she's the one that emailed me a link to an article about what the Pope said.

I can't understand how people can believe something written a couple of thousand of years ago as though the people back then had some direct link to their creator... I mean come on, if he spoke to folks back then, why wait two thousand years before picking up the phone again?

I can't even get into this argument, because I find divinity and creationism so dully ignorant. One book vs. science and logic. Ugh. I just can't deal with it.

"Sameen? Not my girlfriend."
"WHY NOT?"

counterpoint: i did like him in 'Jack Reacher'. he played a very despicable character.
and then there was the fight at the end where he got everything he deserved in spades...

All I know is when I saw that last Die Hard film I said to myself "That guy is a poor man's Sam Worthington... and that's saying something." turns out I was right.

Ah well. We still have the first three films.* No one can ever take those away from us.

I'm just gonna say it:

If that film doesn't end up with Steve Rogers being "worthy" (after Ultron destroys his shield, natch) I will eat my uru hammer.

The timing of these two all but confirms Part 1 is Thanos beating the crap out of the team on Earth, culminating in the arrival of the Guardians (and likely Danvers) to blow our minds and make us wait a goddamn year for the pay off!

And it better damned well be Katie Sackoff...

The show is worth it just for moments like this:

His ability to spin believable realpolitik into his stories might be that special thing that makes it so good. I can't think of another book that surprised me with so many twists and turns without ever making me lose my suspension of disbelief.

i'm kidding. Can people tell i'm kidding?...

DEAR GOD I'M KIDDING!!!!
