Longmire is so much better than this show. I am getting close to giving up on any drama on ABC, NBC or CBS. All I would have missed is Person of Interest, which is pretty great, but there are so many bad shows on traditional network TV. One thing I haven't seen discussed very much was how well the film handled Peter's reaction to his mom dying of cancer. I lost my mom to cancer around that age, and the film reflected my experience precisely - well, my emotional experience, as I wasn't abducted by aliens. I wrote a lot more about it my post
