World War GoT.
World War GoT.
Re-reading it after some 25-30 years...found it to be so juvenile. I guess it was just a product of its time and did not hold up well at all for me.
Well, they have about 100 billion galaxies left to search (give or take 100k)...get cracking!
That's me going into the water.
Vaughn looked 'so pretty'? I thought he looked like the cat who caught the canary only to find out it had some dino teeth. ;)
Old Texan guy (60 - not too terribly cranky) fixin' to retire from IT (not entirely by my own choice) in a week. Fairly frightening, but, hey, I'll finally have time for that great american novel I've been wanting to write. ;)
This is a parody like those "Scary Movie" movies?
No idea how anyone watched the first two seasons of this on a week-to-week basis.
Just finished the first season and haven’t started 2. I...hate...every single character on that show. All of them except Felicity, of course.
I have a Grandfather Clock (smallish, 28” tall or so) that was my grandmother’s. Supposedly her grandmother bought it in Boston after the family came over from Ireland back in the 1800’s and before they migrated to Minnesota. Still works and is really lovely. I’ve had it for 20 years or so I guess.
"The Wizard of Oz" on some kind of 25" (or so) black and white TV way back in the day when I was very young.
I'm pretty sure this was the first book I read that actually had curse words in it. Made an impression on me. And I still love dogs.
He's even great in "Streets of Fire"
I saw that tweet when it showed up in my timeline. Didn't think much of it beyond 'nice sentiment'.
Have we had a movie made from one of his stories that actually gets that "What is reality" was the underlying theme of almost everything he wrote?
You could do amazing things with these.
The first one was a mess, but I would go to the theater to see this.
Thor looks like he's fixin' to smack Cap in the head.
