If you learn how combos work, if you play on easy/normal for harder missions, then you could have fun from what I’ve experienced, but I wouldn’t recommend it at a $60 price point for solo play only. Too many cool things really call for at least a buddy that you work well with in order to feel good.

The more I watched preview footage, the more I played the demos, the more I’ve been in the full game (until 4 am? WHY did I do that? WHY?), the more that I’ve realized:

I really enjoyed the first season (especially Poe!) of Altered Carbon, so this is great news. She was pretty solid as Knight.

Yeah, I don’t really get the Deadspin hot takes when it comes to the Pels... they played the Lakers like a... anything other than a fiddle, or bagpipes... so I refuse to cast them as the bad guys. The Lakers have nothing to offer but hot garbage, if anything I admire the Pels restraint.

Don’t bother dude. Deadspin’s too far down this hole, it would be embarrassing for them to turn back.

But the Pelicans are employing him out of spite!  How dare they not nibble on the Lakers offer of fresh shit kibble?

Also, AD is a great player to watch, but the Pels are capable of some fun/fine performances when he doesn’t play. Jrue is fantastic, Randle bulldozes people, and even Okafor has resurrected his career.

Agreed. I got up to chapter 3 shortly after the game was released and just stopped playing it. I want to love it but I just don’t, and I LIKE big open world games. Trying to convince myself to return to it in the summer, but not sure that’ll happen.

Maybe it’s because as a game, RDR2 is bad. Sure, its tech is wonderful. But there are so many issues with the game.

I feel the exact same way. Everything about the game is incredible except the actual game, which I mean as both praise and criticism.

i never minded the story based character interactions or even the long rides where the gang or characters were talking to each other that much but every gunfight turning a ridiculous hail of gunfire where i would be forced into shooting 20-30 nameless henchmen wore on me after a while. By the end of the game i

i loved red dead as a whole but i don’t know that i actually enjoyed the part where i played the game. The shooting was fun for a bit but by the end of chapter 6 and into the epilogues i hated every time another gunfight broke out. It’s a little ironic that my feelings on playing the game turning mirrored Arthur’s

Difference is in the one case the perpetrator is a deluded self-righteous waste of protein; in the other...oh wait. Yeah, no distinction. Touche.

The fact that you cite religion as the main reason we think murder is wrong shows that you are more concerned with the perceived attack on religion than with the primacy of rule of law.

There’s an entire ocean between “religion has been some people’s moral compass” and “murder is only illegal because of religion”.

conservatives always like to roll out California for any argument.

Which part of Utah voted for the LDS church to make their laws?

So you also don’t know what sanctuary cities are. Cool.

If the only reason you haven’t murdered someone is because your religion says it’s bad, there’s something seriously, seriously wrong with you.
