I’m not particularly familiar with Grimes’ music, but I saw her interviewed on Julia Fox’s podcast and I found her to be quite intelligent, if a bit hyper. She’s a futurist, and employs a curious amalgam of rational and imaginative thinking. Definitely piqued my interest in her.

What’s with tech gurus submitting prospective romantic partners to quizzes? Bill Gates also demanded that Melinda take (and pass) an exam (presumably testing knowledge of computer software) as a condition to their courtship.

It’s too bad he never had an obsession with deep sea exploration...

Is lord of the rings actually good? The movie was boring, I couldn’t make it past the frying pan in the hobbit, and turns out giant eagle Deus Ex Machina’d them to the finish line where frodo gets carried by sam anyways. It doesn’t sound good.
