It's actually surprisingly easy to guess sex from writing, as anyone who has reviewed or edited large amounts of material by different authors will attest.

more like, "stop accepting that 'being a woman' entails spending thousands of dollars and hours to paint your face and sausage-case yourself in pantyhose before going to work in the morning,"
third-wave feminism, vacuous and useless
Doubtless this will remain grey, unanswered and un-acted-upon, as Jez commenters tend to lack useful skills, but: if ever there was an opportune moment for DDOS, here it is.
I agree that words as strong as "hate" as inappropriate, and I had to ctrl+f because I had no recollection of using "hate" in my post — and indeed, I didn't use it.
There are, indeed, many black feminists who strongly dislike white feminists (and those black feminists tend to label Jezebel Enemy No, 1). However, I find many of them — especially the ones who dominate internet discourse — to be nothing more than "SJW" trolls, a view shared by some of the foundational black…
Well, if you are willing to condemn all of those MRA sites unreservedly, then maybe you have some credibility.
I agree with you that the needs of boys and men should be addressed. But, can you name a part of the MRM that isn't vile? Let's see...there's /r/mensrights, AVFM, thespearhead, and then a smattering of websites that combine MR with pickup-artist shit. Any major players I'm missing?
You can, however, fault them for treating it as though child-beating is a nuanced topic, period.
Because white guilt. Literally, that is the reason. Jezebel would never pretend child-beating were a nuanced, morally debatable topic otherwise.
"Feminist" is a pretty broad label with a long, diverse history of adherents. The so-called MRM is a pathetic and lulzy internet hate movement. I am opposed to race-based affirmative action, but I'm not going to oppose it under the banner of "White Rights" — or, if I did, I would not complain when I was inevitably…
I had to explain it to my husband. His befuddlement was a charming reminder of the disparity between IRL men and these "men."
I'm pretty sure that's a parody/troll account
A+ if trolling, D- if serious
If anything, the hazmat suit and concealment from view ("Western" depiction of Ebola) conceals the humanity of the sufferer. The photo of the little girl is very blatantly designed to shock the conscience.
She is saying that it's racist to depict West African hospitals as less sanitary, and less equipped to deal with an Ebola outbreak, compared to hospitals in developed countries treating only a few Ebola patients.

Since it is obviously important, when being burglarized, to reflect upon identity politics and everyone's particular intersections — what of the criminal? He was white, right?
I get the "my body, my choice, not asking for it" point, but am slightly surprised she felt so violated/exposed. The public has already seen her basically naked, portrayed in a sexualized manner, and it was already obvious that sick pervs were having sick pervy fantasies about her. What has she really lost here? I…
I think Gawker objects to the premise that a changed racial make-up makes that statement more true — that racial/ethnic heritage affects values, beliefs, etc., and a mostly black/brown country would have different values and beliefs than a mostly-white country.
