Forgot about the volcano. That was a made for TV moment.

I think he's been on everyone's radar as enemy number 1 for at least the last two tribal councils (not including the one just completed).

I think you were following Wigglesworth's narrative more closely than I was and consequently found her brusque on the chopping block edit understandably annoying. I was fixated on other players.

I think, in general, they do a pretty good job at not favoring the strong male Joe type, considering that the major fan base of Survivor loves a character like Joe and wants to see a character like that go as far as possible. But even not considering that truth, balancing challenges, I've always heard, favor women,

I don't find the challenges the most fascinating part of the game either. But I guess the difference between you and me is that I admire the bitter logic of a game of Survivor reduced to a win the challenge game, as long as that bitter logic doesn't emerge in every single season of Survivor. I like him like DetectiveFork, but for different reasons. I find the way he expresses himself interesting. Cold, oily, calculating, hesitant to express the wrong kind of face to any crowd. He makes a fascinating villain to watch. I don't think he's a good person.

I found a bit odd the hate for Savage here as well, but mostly I'm surprised that I don't hate him, myself. I mean there's a lot to hate for the average seasoned Survivor fan. Tiresome Survivor honor rhetoric, alpha male that thinks he has everything in control, obvious hypocrisy and a concomitant lack of self
