@AreWeThereYeti: The difference is mainly the name though. Internet or Arpanet is basically TCP/IP, and here I guess in context of this article and the map shown, that is what I refer to.

@AreWeThereYeti: The planning, design and internet as it appears on the map above was an ARPA initiative.
@AreWeThereYeti: So ARPA is equal to open market forces and not government planning?
Imagine the stupid looks on officers faces when they raid the place to get the "dangerous drug lord".
@Bluecold: So hypothetically, they would find such a claim fair, knowing that it's indeed a generic term, but not openly admit it.
@Bluecold: Nothing is really separated from ethics, by your reasoning, Microsoft would totally understand it if Oracle or IBM wanted to sue them.
@Bluecold: It does expose their double standards.
@Yeah!: Really? Well, if that isn't generic...
On one hand it's hard to deny, but on the other hand it seems obvious that MS would be riding on wave that Apple created by using the same name.
@Br1zon: I don't know why one hour would make more sense exactly. It's not like 60 minutes have some magic property in relation to a music performance. It's more likely that they went with a size that gave them a bit of a margin on what the typical album length is.
A 20.000 light year shaddow, my mind is blown! Not exactly our neck of the woods.
I always assumed it was because of the storage limitations of the medium. 74 minutes of uncompressed audio takes 764 mb (depending on how you calculate).
@armerad: But there is no need for this since you can most certainly find cracked apps elsewhere on OS X. It seems more aimed to scare devs away from the App store.
I'm suspicious about this claim, given the time the store has been up. There's certainly incentives here to spread some FUD.
What a douchebag.
Factor in that there are above 1.3 billion people in China.
Komodo dragons eat meat, at least. Saw a gang of them feast on a buffalo in a documentary, it was awesome.
@gstatty: Good news is, for 14k you can get lot's of acetates done at a regular vinyl mastering house. It's going to be done by an experienced professional on something better than that Vestax.
@TheFreshAddict: Why not?
@Minimum91: Yeah, because threats and vendettas are the foundations of democracy. [!]
