@Wade McGillis: Then it's not a mac pro equivalent. You can build something else for less of course.
@Wade McGillis: Did I say that you didn't? It would cost you more, that was my point.
@Wade McGillis: Not if you are using the same components.
@Psychonaut: It's says Ubisoft, they are on the list.
@That Guy: In the future, you'll just suck it straight out of the cows teet.
@HC: Internetguy, I believe apple and their test facility more than you and your conclusions. I understand that the mapping of the "bars" does not relate to absolute real world conditions. But they are made to give you a ballpark figure of how good your reception is, that works well if they are calibrated correctly.…
@HiddenCommenter: Cute
@HiddenCommenter: You are the one going on about the bars, and the one who brought them up. All I'm saying is that the phenomenon where the human body attenuates the signal is a challenge for everyone that makes small mobile devices. Obviously if you are in an area with strong reception, you will see less of a…
@HiddenCommenter: No! It means that one guys personal experience isn't a large enough test to be a proof. Example, I know a guy who smoked all his life without side effects, hence, smoking is harmless.
@MazdaMania: But, on the other hand some people say the same about iphone. It seems to come down to where you are located.
@HiddenCommenter: Anecdotal evidence. :) Many people report that they don't have these problem with the iphone either. It depends how good the reception is in your area, among other things.
It's a bit ridiculous tho, it was quite clear IMO, that the purpose was not to drag these phones down. But to show that it's a problem that "comes with the territory" of small mobile devices.
@daddygropius: Look on youtube. There's plenty of videos with other phones dropping reception when held "wrong".
Here's a link to a full, un-edited video of the event.
@SBM_from_LA: How about getting a patch bay then?
I lauged, thank you obese lady on mechanic seahorse!
@archercc: What's tested here is V8 vs javascriptCore on mobile devices. You would get different numbers on the desktop obviously, that's why it's unrelated, the other reason is that the world is not as polarised in reality as it is in your head.
@archercc: Mac? It's not even tested here. You have no idea.
@archercc: No, explain please?
