There’s no need to lump everything into some ridiculous auto/manual dichotomy.
There’s no need to lump everything into some ridiculous auto/manual dichotomy.
Kind of forgot thighs can get that thin post-puberty.
And if automakers had started out with trucks/suvs using that setup, then focusing on something like a diesel-electric that I described before going full electric, we’d probably have 40-60mpg trucks/suvs running around with mass adoption of the tech instead of the mass aversion/rejection we have now.
Nope, them “manly” mens will still complain; “Sure, it’s got huge power and great range, but it’s too quiet...it sucks.”
Around 50 miles of all electric range...to extend the fuel range as far as possible.
NoMoreGermanCars said dually, I just said truck.
I’d be happy with a true diesel-electric hybrid truck; the fuller the size the better. Take a truck, lose the original drive-train, widen the frame rails, slap in a 300kwh battery underneath, switchable motors front and rear, and a diesel-electric generator under the hood to charge the batteries when needed. You’d…
My thought goes like this:
Technically, 8thman is correct in that a bicycle is not a motor vehicle... when not in use. Then, a person gets on to ride it. The rider is the motor, ergo, a bicycle in use is a motor vehicle and subject to pertinent traffic rules, regulations and laws.
Pretty sure that means “Leave your bike in the garage and drive a car”.
COUNTERCOUNTERCOUNTERCOUNTERPOINT: People need to buy what they want AND only buy what they can afford to want.
So much this...but, mostly #3. In fact, #3 should be listed first since it is the basic foundation of 1 and 2. Especially considering that most people stop reading when they’ve got their answer and if their definition look-up resulted in a list like this, they would have never made it to #3. I can’t count the number…
Honest question, how does skeuomorphism apply here? (not the email-envelope part, that’s self evident)
From the Wiki for “Film”:
They do, but the additional cost of a “house call” usually only makes sense for a group annual check-up or if it looks like somebody caught something that may affect the group. Individual illness and injury is almost always less expensive to take in for examination when compared to a “house call”, even if you have to…
It may sound trite, but it’s Bro-Dozers...actual bro-dozers, not just full-size trucks. An F-350 diesel crew cab long bed lifted 14" with 37" tires on 24" rims and chromed axles, drive shafts, springs and control arms doesn’t “job”. And that’s an example of one that was dailied where I used to work. Then again, nobody…
I thought your example was the perfect “mad-libs” description of the HD users that actually use their truck to job. (Real examples follow)
Sorry, I’m a couple days behind on my Kinja, but since you did just happen to mention Lovecraft memeification and cat vids, thought you’d appreciate this.
More like it ran until parked.
The “Clash” is not an electric mountain bike. It can’t be pedaled and it’s throttle controlled only. It is an ultralight electric dirt bike...a motorcycle. It’s things like this that keeps people on legitimate E-bikes (pedal assist only, no throttle control, 15-20mph assisted top speed) from being able to ride in the…
