This movie could get across the board shit reviews, and I'd remain all in on seeing it. I still use "What's on the menu this evening, sir?" about every other week.

Really nice episode. Nick didn't seem too stupid and Jess finally made some reasonable, human decisions. The reversal of Fluffer wasn't too ham fisted, and they spun it into Reagan’s also being dependent on Jess quite nicely.
His IQ has dropped about 60 pts since season 3. He went from the best character to one that just makes me sad. So, I can't blame his relationship with Jess since he's only gotten worse since it ended. Thank God for Winston.
Yet another episode where I look at half the docs and think, "You're millionaires. You're known commodities. You seem miserable. Go work somewhere else!"
Oh, as in 'for Buffy' vs. 'preferred character'. So he answered it in that regard, wich makes sense.
Has anyone chosen Angel yet?
So, am I the only one who thought we were being shown that the Minnick transition was going poorly? I laughed when it was deemed a success tonight and was surprised there was no argument to the contrary.
I think this was just an exercise to make Maggie seem plausible. They just turned the awful up to eleven on everyone else, give her a scene where she's reasonable, and voila.
When it started, Charlie was the first one I loved. And he's great, they all are. But the last 10 seasons or so made it clear that Dennis and Dee are the show's MVPs. You could do an episode here or there without them, but I can't imagine Sunny "existing" regularly without them.
Can we do this "11 Questions" thing for "Angel" next? And can every entry just be Amy Acker day in, day out?
I heard G. Ribisi on Maron's podcast, and… I wouldn't say he seemed conflicted, but he sure didn’t seem 'All In". Maron pressed him on ot a little, and he seemed a little exhausted by the whole thing. Like he didn't buy in all the way, just kind of liked some aspects of it.
It takes dedication. Lots of trips to Whole Foods. Those things don't stay ripe forever.
I would say this is funny. I would, but a friggin decade + later, there is still NOTHING funny about Fred's death. If I ever see him, Whedon's getting a ripe tomato in the ear for that one.
They hid it much better the first time. Can't tell if she's just further along than she was last time or she's just showing it a bit more in the face, but it is bordering on distracting.
No, but I've had friend be a principal at a smallish school. She was prob Jess' age, give/take. Didn't last, though.
I, for one, would like to thank the president. He's taken the rhetorical question "You know who's the fucking worst?" and given it an honest to God definitive and objective answer. And that takes dedication.
By no means a good president, and I didn’t think we'd have to deal with a worse one so quickly. But that's kind of the point, no? That George Bush is looked upon with nostalgia because his eloquence dwarfs that of King Cheeto.
Who wants that sort of liability? If "the talent" needs to get liquored up and handsy in order to express his art, who needs someone who might decide to sue.
Story>truth.
Actually, the one accuser was brought in by Affleck so the other accuser wouldn't be the only woman involved in the shooting of the film. He clearly displayed some shitty behavior, but this was all during the filming of the same film. These women essentially back each other up. There is no reason to assume they are…
