Hmm. Maybe 'moved from ABC to TBS halfway through its 6 season run, which ended last year'. News bro must not be a fan.

oh hey, it's been renewed. nice.

Well, what did you expect? PG-13? They were mischievous little girls, not evil street thugs.

Yeah, even if Nick and Jess and Schmidt and Cece are all together, there are still plenty of friendships to explore. Schmidt and Cece might actually be my least favorite combo on the show, but it's cool because I know the other interactions will be there.

They needed to fill out their Prank Sinatra fiasco count, so they let it slide.

That's kind of how it goes on TV. These guests usually sign contracts for X amount of episodes and move on. That's not changing. The trouble with Nick and Jess was they beat us over the head with them. They turned it into the Nick and Jess Show when their relationship should've popped to the front every 5-6 episodes

I think the tiers on the stairs made it digestible for me. And the cutaways.

My breakdown: Winston was fantastic. Schmidt was quality Schmidt. The groomsmen were pretty good. Jess was a bit much, but that's in character, and there were some laughs. Nick was pretty awful for the first half before finding his footwork with Not Cece's Mom. Cece brought some delightful cleavage. Cece's mom

I didn't think it was that bad, just immensely forgettable. Kind of like most of last season. This is a series killing time.

I'm sure she's capable of delivering a couple biting lines per episode. She'll be fine.

I don't think she'll be asked to do much. She'll just observe the zaniness around her.

I don't think she'll be that bad. She won't be asked to carry too much weight, and it might be nice to have a straight man for a while.

That was super spotty, but it sure was nice to see these folks again.

That didn't happen. Jess wasn't already MoH. Cece's mom never helped arrange a previous wedding. Shivrang and Elizabeth never existed. Among other… stuff.

Glad for reasons unrelated to Wayans and the character Coach eventually became. Glad simply because I prefer the pace and quality of the first 2 seasons.

Unfortunately the friendship stuff feels fairly stiff and forced most, not all, of the time these days. Tonight was a prime example. A fairly clunky episode saved by some decent comedy.

I'd honestly forgotten about The Ladykillers.

After a season of watching all the miserable happenings in/around that town, I wasn't sure our principals were in need of a wake up call.

I just assume at this point Kevin's got a little magic to him. The way they recap it is pretty bang-bang, so the fact that he beats them there is glaring and not likely an oversight.

Yes, wane. I swipe comments on my droid, got actor/director David Wain's name in my head for whatever reason, and used the wrong word. Oops. And ratings/viewership and quality are two different things. One is completely subjective, the other… well, that's gotten a bit cloudy, too. I was just assuming the lack of
