Only on board if the Mogwai score stays. And when the hell is Season 2 coming?

In watching promos, it was pretty clear Fox is still looking for a suitable replacement for Gregory House. Rake was a huge whiff (though not appallingly bad, imo) and this one looks like it may sink pretty quickly as well. But who knows? Football's gone, so people have to watch something.
Yeah, I'm not so surprised that it's getting renewed, but Gotham and Empire are legit hits. Kind of a 'one of these things is not like the other' deals. But the combo of youth, passable ratings, and favorable reviews makes it something of a no brainer. Like you said, why wait?
It's already got 1.4-1.5 a couple times this season. I guess since that's New Girls general vicinity these days, it's still the top of Fox's sitcom food chain since it's younger. Nothing to build a night around, but with seemingly no other viable animated show on the way, the small divot it typically leaves between…
Interesting that 99 would get such an early nod, as their ratings are going to take a huge tumble without the NFL to inflate Sundays. Prob safe to say it'll be protected on Sunday for at least one more season, then.
I think a lot of the people that had great passion for the show were mostly fans of Nick and Jess. And since they seldom even interact anymore, some people don't have much to say. And as much as the laughs have been on point this season, the extra depth the show used to have seems to have largely been 86ed in favor…
I think the issue is more from a plotline standpoint. Rather, it seems kind of pointless. Jess needed some reason to not go with Perfect Season Four Love Interest straight away. Make it against the rules? Voilà! We can kill 2 birds and make her and PSFLI sneak around for a while. It'll be hilarious! Except her…
That's Series Finale stuff, there. Jess falls madly in love with S6 guest star, gets knocked up, dude and baby move into the loft, and all three live happily ever after under one roof alng with Nick, Schmidt, Coach, and Winston for eternity. Because NOBODY leaves that loft. Coach tried, Schmidt tried… it can't be…
Too bad, too. Unlike Sir zzzzzzzzz, there was funny to be had there.
She had more spark with Jax McTavish. But that's not entirely fair. I mean, his name was Jax McTavish, after all…
Yeah, dudes boring. Like, negative edge. At least Nick's chick has a little 'something' to her. You just know she carries a blade, and I'm pretty sure she would've fixed up that meth mishap in about 3 minutes, Winston Wolf style.
In a bold move, Marry Me actually did bring up Happy Endings tonight.
What was sexist here? Winston's diminutive partner? Because there isn't one instance where the fact that she's a woman is cited as a reason for Nick and Coach's concern. They repeatedly express worry about her size (sleep in a raindrop, Persian Webster) and Winston's fragility. Then they totally flipped the token…
True, she's got vocal chops. Don't know how often sea creatures appear in her crooning, but it's apparently in her bag of tricks if ever it become necessary.
Yeah, just didn't work for me. Very last thing he said was kind of funny, but it was immediately trumped by Dave.
Also, if that Dolphin cackle was Deschanel, I'm a bit impressed. That may be weird, but it is what it is…. Also loved her use of 'bro'.
Yeah, Handsome Brit doesn't do much for me. With the all the 'guesting' in this episode, his inability to keep up with the funny really stands out even more. It has a general vibe of 'Oh that's right, this guy's around. Um, let's have him fake an American accent or something.'
I think the statement was taken out of content.
I wouldn't call myself a hate watcher. I've actually enjoyed quite a bit of the show. But there was a black and whiteness to what these characters often preached. (And preached is an accurate word in this case). They were always right, it seemed, even when theyvwere a tiny bit wrong. And for some reason they came…
I liked it because it made me think of Sports Night. And at if they really wanted to go hamfisted with it, they could've dropped a 'those stories, plus' instead.
