Whoa. I thought there was an AV Club edict that Justified never receive less than a B+.

Never a show I made 'appointment viewing', but there was a charm to it that nearly every other multicam on TV seems to lack anymore. (Namely, I would on occasion find myself laughing before being instructed to do so by the laugh track/studio audience.) I watched the finale, and found it kind of cold and not…
Another C? I'm not even going to waste my time.
As a person who wasn't a great fan of the show (yet somehow caught in the ballpark of, say, 40 episodes) my opinion could be taken with a grain of salt, I suppose. But I always thought the sweetness of the how the eventual mother's love story was handled helped set the series apart a bit. I can imagine how fans of…
Luckily, the lady was all for bailing on Mindy when I was, so that shouldn't be an issue. May even see what's going on with that About A Boy show.
With 9pm open this week, I may end up giving that a shot. Hear it's solid.
Fox has some good stuff, but they need a new philosophy or something. I know timeshifted viewing is a thing and all, but at some point you need to get people to watch these shows when they actually air.
Part of me will never get over Fred dying.
I don't think I could buy it, honestly. Not in a 'oh, Winston's colorblind….righhht…' kind of way, but in 'this doesn't feel honest and it is hurting the show' kind of way.
The idea of platonic soul mates has always been my greatest fear for the duo. It doesn't offer much satisfaction for the viewer, and it's not something I've ever witnessed to be a real thing outside of film or TV. That would be quite the bummer.
But the sharing a room thing wasn't really looked at. It looked to be their first real obstacle. Then, before they even get to address it, ' eh, never mind, we quit. Let's be pals again.'. Remains to be seen how they handle it, but it seems like an even steeper challenge than putting them together to begin with.
Is it me or were they laughing as they went back to his room? I've never been one that thought Nick/Jess needed to be together, though I was happy that they were. But Johnson and Deschanel do absolutely need to share the screen. And this is a slippery slope here. Is it even possible to return them to being just…
Zooey Deschanel gives great sad face, so i understand being compelled to use it. And that hug that mirrored the their first kiss was pretty devestating. But they were giggling when they went back to his room. Seems like there's a lot more to be explored here. But if this breakup takes and if there is any interest…
I dunno, does feel like the breakup should've come from somewhere. Ending things so easily and agreeably seems to kind of go against all that we've seen this season. Can't say I'm excited to see Jess date guest star X for 3 episodes a clip twice per season again, and buying a 'hey, we're just back to being pals'…
I have a new (only) favorite moment of this show. Just after Ryan and the other cops (yet again) impotently point their guns at the sheep with the knife as the young girl Ryan's trying to reason with drifts closer and closer to her completely telegraphed death, there is a quick flash to some detective or something. …
Cut the show some slack. When the manatees pick incest, the manatees pick incest. What can you do?
If NBC cancels Parenthood (don't you do it, peacock), does it make it possible to start to hope for a reunion of Casey McCall and Dan Rydell? Eh, I think I know the answer to this.
Yeah, Subaru is all over this show. I don't even get bothered by that stuff anymore.
Yeah, doesn't work for me either. Having Ben get crapped on for standing up for him was just… I dunno. Doesn't add anything for me, and that includes laughs.
Yeah, my closer just had a plate put in his face… so. This could be a really, really long season.
