If I were tasked to write a review of this show, I think I would fail. There are flaws all over the place, the sex/violence borders (and crosses) into being redundant, and the backstabbing/switching of alliances is already pretty played out. See I'd fail. Because from what I said right there you'd never know I

Eh, I'm sure he's got all the info in his 'box'.

Doesn't matter the trope, just matters how it's handled. I'm sure all 'critics' (those that actually get paid to be and those of us who just think ourselves to be) pick and choose their 'trope' complaints. It they aren't a fan of the show, it'll get hammered. It the show is liked, it is ignored.

So the only shows on this list I've even meant to intentionally check out are Person of Interest and The Good Wife. Does that make me pretentious, out of touch, or just wise with my viewing frugality? (Wait, did I just answer my own question with the term 'viewing frugality'?)

Yeah, that's the thing I would've expected more folks to take minor issue with. I imagine there hast to be some kind of upkeep of license, that sort of thing.

That human garbage?

I think Modern Family has sort of earned a 'never give up on it' status from it's days as perhaps the best comedy on TV. The last two seasons have been largely forgettable, though not exactly what I would call 'bad' television. (Though when compared against itself that's a different story.) While I don't think we

This may say something about me, but I'm starting to wonder if there is a correlation to how much I enjoy Jess in a given episode vs. how much of said episode she spends peeking out through those lensless glasses. Can we just retire those things? Or at least minimize them to before bed and when she's reading or the

He's certainly no Nelson Franklin. And I honestly kind of mean that. But then, I'm a guy, so it could be I'm just wrong.

Well, if they want to keep with the Cheers odes, Woody would be such an funny and inappropriate name for Schmidt.

It would also mean Winston was pretty good player. Lithuania used to be kind of solid in basketball.

They didn't really get into it, but my assumption was also that Schmidt was in the wrong. And honestly, 20K doesn't seem completely unreasonable if the plaintiff were uninsured.

Goes back to Fancyman: "Take out your tampon and drink, Trevor! The Flip Queen has spoken!" Of course that was topped moments later when she falls, bounces off the table, and limps away to her room like a wounded animal.

That flick has been on my DVR for a year. Heard great things.

Loved Coach and Jess at the bar. I don't know if the intensity and onscreen splash-back of Jess' beer slap was intended or just a happy coincidence of Deschanel getting carried away, but it got a laugh out of me. Between this week, her antics with Artie, and her turn as The Batman, I think she's proven to be quite

I know folks are probably going to take issue with some of the logistics regarding Nick's capacity to attempt to function as a lawyer. But that's just a big 'whatever' to me. That said, as one who doesn't nitpick, I do kind of wish they'd have found a different sport for Coach to use as a prop for Jess' pep talk.

He's got a pilot that is awaiting word. Much like with H.E., I think (but don't know for fact) that he would be obligated to the pilot.

C- ? Wait, is this show going to approach mediocrity? I didn't sign up for that. Total dumpster fire or bust!

I made it about 8 or so episodes in this season. It's not terrible or anything, but, to me, it is never not evident the actors are going off a script. So they don't come off as characters, merely words from a page. And at the risk of being told I just 'don't get it', it's typically a script that I don't find

Interesting thought. I do think a lot of Mindy's viability as far as adrates may be tied in large part to it airing after New Girl. It makes me wonder if the expected syndication-season 4 for Mindy helps ensure a season 5 for New Girl were it to somehow stop being the top rated comedy next year. Sending them off to
