I'm honestly a little surprised to see the dislike of silliness of Jess. Her 1 minute (that's all it was) little romp reminded me a great deal of her antics in Cooler. I'm always a bigger fan of her subtle humor, but the bit was fine. Still prefer her 'Why does your bottom need to breathe? Nevermind. Yeah. I

I found early Jess so grating, my only issue this season is that she's occasionally comes a bit too close to 'that' character from time to time. (Not so much last night, but other times.)

It's also Furguson in closed captioning.

I thought the hotel stuff was fine. It was all of a minute of the show, and reminded me a lot of her antics in Cooler. Would a normal person behave like that? No. Would Jess? Obviously.

Wait, which one's Mike? Is that… nope, fuck it. Don't care.

I was actually rooting against it before I saw it. Wanted Ryan Shay back on Suburgatory. Now I'd rather see where this could go.

Well, the Following is terrible, but I can't believe how badly Rake has done. It's not great, but Kinnear is likable enough I assumed it would do okay. I don't think Fox ever had much faith in this show. I sure didn't before I saw it.

Fox has been pretty terrible at promoting anything that isn't Rake, American Idol, or The Following of late. Judging by the across the board rating this year, not really sure how much that matters. But starting a show this promising off on Fridays is pretty unforgivable.

Wouldn't go that far on the former, but I would certainly like to see this show come back.

Such a nice little show. Every time I think I start to like one of the brothers more, one of the others does something outstanding to make me rethink. Not sure what the long term prognosis of this show is, and I'm not sure how many seasons the general setup could stay viable, but I'm sure going to enjoy it while it

How subjective is humor, huh? Got people calling it the funniest episdoe of the year and people calling it the least funny. Just goes to show there will be no pleasing everyone.

Actually, now that I think of it, it was pretty stupid because there's no real comedic payoff there. Might have been better just to have him get to the police station to find out there simply was no back to the test.

Here is one thing I would like to tell the show: lighten the fuck up!

To echo Jordo here, I don't think we are to meant to think this is Winston's dream job. I think he says this minutes after he decides his possible coffee shop interview was the most important thing he'd ever done, right? Sorry you're disappointed this season. I still think its the best comedy going. Community has

I do think she is asked to move plot forward a lot, and I think she is probably given the least amount of 'funny' on the written page. I actually give Descanel a lot of props for finding laughs as often as she does. I always go back to her Michael Keaton antics as an example of her elevating material that otherwise

I don't look much like my sister. Think I'll give CAA a ring.

Callback to "something… something… Plywood Ass!" from season 2?

The funny thing is, I really do notice what has to be an intentional variation of pronunciations of 'Nick' in this show.

I was actually so relieved it wasn't just Coach playing like Winston had failed only to surprise him that he hadn't that the computer bit didn't phase me.

Oh, I liked it. Pretty sure I'll like it even more when I rewatch it. But there is at times a sense that this show needs more than 22 minutes to do what it really wants to do. And I think knowing Abby isn't a permanent fixture here kind of adds to the need to 'resolve' her neatly and quickly, and that's not
