Except, as had been suggested, Caroline wasn't exactly crazy so much as she was justifiably angry. She was fairly measured in her interactions with Nick before she thought he had cheated on her. I love Schmidt, but I'm a little surprised that someone sensitive to TV tropes would find the 'overcompensating D-bag

And also, poor Winston. The final loftmate has fallen prey to the 'Winston is terrible' epidemic that has randomly, quietly, and joyfully been spreading through season 3. I have no idea how or why Jess came to the conclusion of "Dammit, Winston!" when the dish sprayer failed her, but I'm glad she did.

Bummer. With Brooklyn Nine Nine moving to 9:30, this has become a DVR preference casualty.

It just seemed to contradict a lot of character stuff. Would Jess really rob Nick to pay his bills? Would Nick really react so negatively to the suggestion he tidy up his life a bit? I still laughed, but it just missed the characters so much.

I think it's been implied Caroline wasn't a great girlfriend. It's noted she'd dumped him 3 times, and in the pilot it's (ironically) clear she hadn't given him a reason for the most recent dumping. She also flirts heavily with him during the Wedding episode even though she has a boyfriend. Weirdest of all, she

Well, that's where the TV Show comes into it. Seemed like a callback to Landlord where Nick was just trying to gloat about being right.

It does seem the 'Bells' and 'Neighbors' of the world have been forgotten and forgiven, but we're holding our grudges against the imperfections of this season.

I feel like this show gets hit with the 'cliche' gripe a lot, but I'm pretty sure any show that makes it past a year is going to jump into a trope here and there. Hell, I love Parks and Rec, but it's essentially had 3 different 'will they/won't they' relationships (with varying degrees), but I never really hear it

I'm not feeling too bad for the married man who brought his child to what he mistook as an invitation to shack up with his ex.

They haven't exactly retconned Nick's feelings. They've just been explicitly stated now. The 'no nail oath' was his doing, and we know that happened within the first two weeks of her living with them. Also, in the pilot he literally runs to Jess' side despite the woman he'd been apparently pining over for months

I can't remember every episode, but I feel like Caroline being a pretty bad girlfriend has been referenced, too. Then there was her act at the wedding in season 1. And I forgot about the age thing. I absolutely took that as a red flag Nick was just too dumb to recognize.

I feel like their 'conflicts' are rarely actually with each other, but are typically internal issues, and that makes it a bit more interesting to me. (Even then, it's hardly every episode). Like tonight, there was no conflict between Nick and Jess until Caroline blindsided them with how shiddy Nick had been about

My only fault (which isn't really even the right word) with this run of episodes is that they seem to start a little slow and build momentum. That said, Nick's tumble into the produce stand was so over the top aggressive that it brought me one of the biggest cold open laughs of the season.

I think Mindy might air two new episodes one night, and who knows, maybe a repeat of New Girl mixed in or something. That said, I've not seen an official tally for eithers show, but it seems B99 might have a slightly shorter season.

I'm not one to stuff the comments section by tossing out quotes, but:

If it's possible, I'm not 100% on board with the show yet, but as the title here basically indicates, I fully expect to be down the road. I just feel in misses badly on a lot of gags (JLT using grabbers to pick up his coffee a few episodes back just went on way, way too long. That sort of thing.) and I feel there

Oh, I still want to see her added to the body count. I've just got new priorities.

Last season, I disliked Emma so much that I'd tune in with the hopes that she would be killed. A few episodes into this season, and I find myself looking at her as a 'savior' of sorts. She seems so outright annoyed by these new assholes that I'm hoping she'll simply take it upon herself to start wiping them out.

Humor's subjective, so it depends what you like. I will say that, while I've never not been fully on board, it seems amongst the several reviews I read that there is a pretty strong consensus that the episodes of 2014 are the strongest of the season.

I was pretty surprised this was the episode they chose to break out the 'I love you'. I have to admit, upon first viewing, I was a little disappointed. Then, like is often the case, the second viewing completely sold me. I warmed to the 'finger guns' defense mechanism Jess tosses out, and really enjoyed the look
