I'd say Spader's phoning it in, too. It's just that his doing so kind of happens to suit his character.

I think the appeal was/(is?) Kevin Bacon. And… that's all I got.

Subtle heads up on the upcoming About A Boy series, there.

I was surprised they ever broached the issue. Some comedies can tackle heart and character development. The best thing this show ever did was to not even try. (Well, they gave up early anyway.) Only got in the way of the jokes, which they did as well as anybody.

I knew Ryan Shay left for Enlisted, but I totally missed that Alan Tudyk wasn't coming back as a regular. Bummer. Still fun to see the show again.

I've been impressed with her since the start of season 2. I think she does a great job 'being real' when the script calls for it, and I also think her overall presentation of Jess has improved since season 1.

Not going to lie. I see myself missing Ryan Shay. A lot.

I could see that. It's not like we've really seen them be buddy-buddy, though. And the indication is that Coach seems to isolate himself in his room a lot. A pretty well designed dude room, I might add.

I was excited at the prospect of him popping in for 2-3 episodes because Wayans is so good. At this point, despite the fact that he's starting to fit in a bit better, I wouldn't be upset if he got his pilot and went on his way.

Wouldn't mind seeing that Pistons color themed outfit again either. I don't get the impression that Jess is supposed to be 'hot', but her supposedly inept attempts at seduction (ex: Parking Spot) sure as hell do the trick for me.

Was really, really worried that word was going to play a bigger role in the episode than it did.

Also nice to bring back the character of Kim. I get a kick out of Gillian Vigman, both here and on Suburgatory. And also the 94 different commercials I see her in every day.

Thought she had a great little part today. She did a nice job conveying the obviousness of Winston's situation while the boys missed it. I'd like to see more of Cece, too, but we're at the point of the show where someone is likely to be getting less time episode to episode. That said, she has appeared in every

I'm not sure there's a show on TV that rewards rewatches more.

Took a little while for Winston, Schmidt, and the Warden to take off, but I think it paid off quite well.

Have you seen the women he's rostered on this show? He must be doing something right…

They certainly seem to be the most outwardly aware of L+30, multi platform, binge watching, etc. mentality. But I have to think that other networks have their own programs that explode over time, too. I suppose that's just an assumption, though, since I've never seen it reported.
I also can't help but wonder how it

In checking the ratings breakdowns (L+7s, L+30s, etc.) on various sites, I have noticed Fox is the only one that announces the +30s. New Girl is typically always amongst the biggest gainers in demo (along with Sleepy Hollow and, so far, Almost Human) and it typically has a near 100% jump in total viewers. As

Very fun show. Sadly not excited about it's chances, but it's found a home on my DVR for as long as it lasts. I was initially bummed to be losing Ryan Shay, but if this is where he's gone, I suppose I can live with it.

I think it really interesting that it's not his job that's been stopping him from being 'a healthy person'. In fact, despite others putting it down, I'm not sure we've ever seen him show any dissatisfaction with the job. (Though I can't remember 60 odd episodes, so maybe it is in there somewhere.) Perhaps secretly
