Wolverine can cameo as well as the Twelve (J. Michael Straczyznski’s attempt at reinventing some golden age characters in the modern era) though that last one would be a deep cut.
“uneven writing (and the frankly distracting VFX work) has made it hard to find her Jen Walters more than passingly pleasant to watch”
omg android human torch retconning! Hardest part of reading 90s avengers forever is them trying to explain all the human torch/vision retconning.
That was only a one-shot.
I didn’t know Mark Millar commented on Gizmodo
I think part of it is just that most of the action SJ series have been stuck in the same rut for some time and could really use a good twist that doesn’t devolve into a by the numbers battle manga. series like super phone, ruridragon, and Earth Child have been pretty great breaths of fresh air.
RuriDragon is so good! I’m hopeful the mangaka gets better soon. RuriDragon has been my favorite new series this year.
If you’re willing to dig, Again!!, by Mitsurou Kubo, goes in the same dresser drawer as this one. Not saying they’re identical, or necessarily similar, but I read Again!! after watching Yuri!! On Ice, and can definitely see Kubo’s charm all over it. She has the excellent way of making loveable characters in absurd…

I am glad you enjoy your game, I hope it is possible that you can enjoy it without feeling smugly superior to another game you probably skipped anyway.

Keep picking those cherries little buddy.
Best. Realization. Of. Spider-Man. Ever.
Most of the tech he gets from R&D seems to either be random projects most wouldn’t recognize when all used together (like the cape) or ends up being created in a way where various parts get made through shell companies and the process is masked to be difficult to track...
I mean, the comics are mostly a family drama too, so how I don't really see how this is a departure from the comics. If anything, I find the supporting characters more likeable here - Amir and Bruno especially.
Same. It was a ton of fun playing an archer who’d just wreck stuff.
Everyone, clearly this person has a point to make so lets talk it out and use some logic. On one hand we have a link to a piece of secondary merchandise that may or may not be official sanctioned by the creator that says Yamato identifies as a woman. On the other side we have actual manga pages from the creator that…
lol. came to the comments for the anime ethic purity squad after i saw that.
