I thought we were 10 years past the “everything needs a folksy acoustic cover” phase of music.

But also, they did it this way because covers are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper to use in media than originals and as we all know Ubisoft is hurting for money so that makes a ton of sense.

Imagine being such a shitty person you get fired from a job you hired yourself for.

Oh FFS it was announced in 2012. They had plenty of time to make a better game. And if it wasn’t polished, if it wasn’t finished, they didn’t have to release it. This is 100% on CDPR. 

I would disagree with it being a good game. It’s bad far cry, and far cry is already lazy. The world is stale and boring, and the narrative is trite at its best moments. They made irony the game, in all its glorious flatness.

I don’t know, I went into CP2077 with very little by way of expectations and I felt like I was playing an ugly, unfinished mess of a game full of broken and missing mechanics with a super high gloss of finish on it.

The best thing about comments like this is they’re asked by people who want to be seen as knowing the ways of the world, and yet it comes off as sounding like they’ve never worked anywhere with higher stakes than the stock room of their local Sam’s Club. You’re not Nada from They Live, buddy.
