Not sure how they implement it technically. I do know they still basically farm their own land effort wise. They just share the big stuff and cooperate during the busy times. Im sure it gets complicated when one family has 1000 acres and the next has 750 when it comes to splitting costs/profits

Thankfully I’ve got the space & resources for a home gym ... always failed and gave up traveling to a gym.

Back home the big farming families all joined up into little conglomerates to basically turn themselves into bigger farms. Pool their acreage and all go in on the big equipment for plant/harvest. They do their own thing in the meantime. Odd setup, but needed to survive a world with mega-farms.

I feel your pain. That’s why I’m thankful I have to space to have cobbled together a fairly complete home gym over they years. Otherwise I simply wouldn’t do it. It’s hard enough to simply get out of bed and go downstairs, let alone pack up a bunch of junk and drive somewhere!

I’d jam the two motorcycles together and get a sporty/comfy bike. I’ve had a couple of sportbikes and standards ... but my favorites were always the sportbikes that were basically standards :)

Agreed the Jim Crow stuff was terrible and there may not be a good way to do it without recalling that horrible period. Just seems we should be able to ensure that the voting public has done some due diligence ...

This is why I think there should be a quiz on the back of every ballot. In simple terms ... perhaps a couple of US Civics questions and some match the politician with their policy questions. Fail the quiz, vote doesn’t count. We truly need less uninformed votes from both sides. More people would hopefully do real

Exactly what I’ve been trying to explain to folks in my family that think the ACA was a disaster since their rates kept going up.

I’m in the same boat. I get up around 4:45 to workout ... with a job and a couple of small kids I gotta get it done while they are sleeping! Not getting up a 3:45 to eat first :)

What pickup man said.

They call them Native Americans to avoid confusion ... Native American Chief or Scout just doen’t have the same ring to it.

Didn’t they patent the “noise” that Harelys make because of their somewhat unique firing order? Thought I read that somewhere on here.

Slight correction. Real bikers buy USED Harleys that the business men used for their biker cosplay until their wives made them sell it.

I think that we’ve all been a bit unfair to the Aztec. Really, I think it was ahead of its time. Sure, it was a little too angular. But it REALLY did portend all of today’s cookie cutter CUVs. Squint and you can see it. It was a proto CUV ...

Count me in. My mom sticks to the “gotta be burned or the kids will get worms” school of steak preparation. I didn’t think I liked steak until I was at a cookout at my girlfriends house and her dad (now my father-in-law) served me a medium rare steak. Turns out I LOVE steak and will never need A1 again!

Leave ...

That’s Android Auto or CarPlay ... essentially a streamlined version of your phone interface on the dash. I have Android Auto and it’s great, haven’t tried CarPlay but I’m sure it’s good too.

It’s all relative. If you are surrounded by people that make the same amount as you, you don’t feel rich if you are never exposed to folks that have less. If you get close to “middle class” and only ever see “rich folks” on TV, you don’t realize how comparatively poor you are if your basic needs are met.

Your credit card is bits and bytes and if you pay that bill online that part of your paycheck is never materialized. The money she invests helps cities and companies raise funds to do things ... material things like build schools and what not.

Now playing

Not bad. My favorite V6 sound vid was always this one ... lots of work to make it sound this good though. The lopey cam toward the end is just perfect IMO
