That sentence struck me, too. Any time someone’s response to being accused of toxic and hurtful behavior is “I’m just tough and you should just take it because you’re lucky to work for me/get to spend time with me”, you know damned good and well that they’re a narcissist with no regard for anyone else’s feelings. Would

I wouldn’t say I’m enjoying it, but don’t you find it mildly amusing?

That is why she doesn’t allow subordinates to look her in the eye, her greatness would blind an ordinary peon.

“She knows she can be tough at times,” the source continued, “but believes she works hard and is extremely creative and that it’s a privilege to work for her and be around her.”

I’ve already voted for Putin in all 50 states, comrade!

No, OP is right.

The thing is, this is one of thousands of things that Trump has done where... he actually could have scored tons of points by being just mildly self-deprecating.

That is the big question. It had to be someone high up in the NOAA administration to issue such a sweeping directive to all the underlings.

You are supposed to defend the spelling by saying it's a local upstate New York spelling or something.

Watching my family members who scramble to rationalize how they vote Republican for freedom and small government while also defending Trump doing big government censorship things is entertaining, and disturbing.

I worked for the federal government for over 30 years in the information technology business. I always told my bosses what was real and what was bullshit because I was very good at what I did and they knew replacing me meant they would get someone several steps below me. If they fired me, it definitely would not be

Why should it matter how much the lie v. truth ratio is? When it’s over half, it’s already encroaching on the boy-who-cried-wolf territory.

As long as Trump remains in power, in any form, there is no truth, there is no good, there is no reality, and there is no trust anymore. America, as a civilization, is dying, and Trump and his Republicans are the cancer killing it.

So, who in NOAA’s administration initiated these warnings?

I mean, the things people claim the US stands for are certainly lies. But the US has been remarkably consistent since its inception in its imperialist, exploitative actions. Maybe not so much a lie as it is a delusion.

He misread “All Bahamas” as Alabama and now he can’t admit it because he’s a malignant narcissist.

How far will people go to placate this madman? Where are the adults who should be pressing for the truth at all costs? America is a lie.

One of the weather blogs I visit, weather underground, mentioned the misinformation in a blog post. The comments went so off the hook it was removed 15 minutes later.

Thanks, I appreciate the catch! It is incredibly ironic.
