If a game bores you that doesnt have exploration of planets maybe check out subnautica. the variety of biomes and wildlife to me was much more impressive than nms. And there are some pretty tense moments in gameplay being in deep ocean with a giant ass alien sea monster that wants to eat you.

Check out subnautica. Its a great pc game with exploring alien ecosystems and it is now on xbox i believe.
