@Jonathan Bourne: I thought digsby was cluttered on install, however with the "Smooth lines" conversation style, and by going into advanced buddy list editing you can make it very minimalistic. And anyways, I don't see how something can be cluttered when it's skinnable, haha!

I bookmark locally with foxmarks, so I can keep my bookmarks synchronized across my three computers—and in the event that I need them elsewhere foxmarks does have online access. I don't consider it social because although it does go online it's all for my personal use.

I agree with everyone else—this list is silly and we know what we need in our kitchens best, since we USE them. @chaos0815: On the computer where I had the trash hidden, I managed to forget you needed to empty the recycle bin for so long it started being a reason my computer lagged xD I never drag items onto it to delete them, but to me remembering to empty it is reason enogh to keep it on the dekstop.

I like your method, but it's just so... work-ish. I can't see a home computer looking like that! I organize my computer a LOT, because I honestly have a ton of stuff—yeah, I'm a packrat, but the truth is I actually HAVE gone back and used some of this 6 year old stuff. So my folders have way more than 3 subfolder
