A very dear friend of mine died last summer. She was drunk and she fell from a balcony. I wasn’t there when it happened but I was sleeping in the house so I was there for the entire investigation. There literally wasn’t anyone around who wasn’t a “witness” or the police because it was 1:30am on a weeknight.

Thank you for being clear in what actually happened. I found out what happened early Saturday morning and the way the story is being covered by many outlets today is incredibly misleading and clearly click bait. I’ve always known I shouldn’t read comments but these articles have really brought that point home. I

The DC gyms are nuts. One day after launch there was a 1000 CP vaporeon outside of my office. ONE DAY. I’m still proud of my dumb 200 CP kingler.

Not for the 1st time,

What a time to be alive!

There is a reason I think my sister-in-law is a amazing for reporting her suspicions that a friend was abusing (not sexually but physically) her baby. It destroyed a friendship but when it was investigated the kid has a broken skull and an old shoulder fracture that the mother couldn’t explain and the kid got put with

Just like the Catholic church, everybody knew, no one did anything,

Correct. In this case, they quit because their precious little egos were hurt by women- GOD FORBID- taking a political side. If I stopped coming into work because my boss said he’s going to vote for Trump, then I’m pretty sure I’m bad at my job. This is not the same thing as quitting due to other job opportunities.

Well, the first answer is unions. Police unions are some of the most powerful in the nation and as such, are going to rally behind their members regardless of the situation. I think there’s an honest debate about whether that’s a good thing or bad. Personally, I feel that sort of protection has to end once something

I hope you live in a fourth floor walkup & meet a firefighter with a fear of heights.

I’m positive they would have less sand in their vaginas than these four pussy cops.

I could see walking off if they didn’t mention the officers, but they did. I swear, one of these days, we’re going to get the “right” victim (preferably female, white, blonde, young and straight) of police violence. I guess the shit’ll hit the fan then.

Because they walked off the job while in uniform.

How about cops do their jobs instead of having temper tantrums any time a black name is mentioned.

That’s the wonderful thing about the police. They’re only supposed to assist the people they like. It’s not as if they should have to serve ALL the citizens.

Pretty sure “walking off a paid detail” would be an indication of being bad at their job in the same way that if I just decide not to show up to my job, my boss would consider me bad at it and fire me.

I get what you’re saying, but I actually did Google their average attendance.

Thing is they don’t even have to do that, they’re in an event where these players are speaking out against the violence in general and addressed both sides, it doesn’t seem like there was an attack on either side. Their attitude of you’re either with us or against us is dumb and it’s why the BLM movement continues

Lt. Bob Kroll, president of the Minneapolis Police Federation, the union that represents rank-and-file officers, praised them for quitting. “I commend them for it,” he said.
