More evidence that Mark Sanchez can’t do anything right.

Whether or not the sole beneficiaries of your redistribution are white people

Agreed. I’m shocked but Rodriguez is genuinely good and will get better over time.

Watching A-Rod, who looked and sounded like a broadcasting professional who also happened to be an all time great* player, interact with the chaos agent of Rose was a highlight of the postseason

“only shortstop ever, to clear 200 homers, 500 doubles, and 400 steals.”

Phillies fans know, well maybe others too, but yes:

Loved watching Jimmy play for the Phillies! A truly great talent and he should be very proud of his career. Would love to see him make the Hall of Fame.

there was no more thrilling player to watch

The really great thing is, you don’t have to be alone with a woman to take away her access to health care.

I must admit I don’t know my bourbons, but cousin Chris swears by his Wild Turkey. When I see him with a bottle of it I think, “Oh, it’s gonna be one of those nights.”

Don’t know. I was talking about the wild turkeys that are semi-tame. Had some around a farm. They would hang around the front yard, running around with the chickens and ducks. They were not afraid of humans.

Everyone I’ve known that has hunted turkeys has remarked on how smart they are. Now maybe they were just covering for themselves, but it is a consistent claim.

Wild Turkey disappears in the presence of my bat shit crazy cousin.

Wild turkeys aren’t that stupid, they are amazing survivors in a world where they are on the menu for every large predator.

Turkeys are not that bad. They puff up, gobble and run at you. That is until you start to run at them and yell (these are the semi-domesticated ones). Sure they can nip and scratch. Now, being bombed by an angry hawk is worse. They can do some damage. They kill for a living.

I’m also curious as to how easy it would be to secure these trucks and prevent their contents from getting ripped off.

Not everything delivered by big rig needs a big rig. It’ll be easiest at first to have automated big rigs deliver to delivery centers, then have smaller rigs deliver from there. Some of this local/regional stuff will still be driven by people, at first.

The automation of trucking in the next 5-10 years seems really optimistic. 20 years? Maybe. The problems you’ve elucidated here are a perfect way to describe what will slow this process way down.

It will still happen though.
