Don’t confuse the profit statements of a corporation with the compensation of an executive. Those are two, VASTLY, different things.

For starters, they spent a heart stopping $1 billion on their posh downtown SF HQ. They also were reported to spend lavishly on stupid shit like $200K/year on balloons.

The early investors made out huge. Anyone who bought after the IPO is probably not going to see any money. Maybe the short positions will make cash.

The initial, pre-IPO investors made money when the companies went public. Any post-IPO investors are almost certainly hosed.
