Audi used to have rain channels that drained over chassis wiring. German cars are exciting.
This looks better inside than any Aston Martin. It looks better outside than quite a few. The DB11 interior is not great. On the outside I’m not sure. It’s a LOT more adventurous on the outside than a DB11 and it looks waaaay better than the NSX, but the DB11 looks good even if pretty dull.
that “because X” started just as much in the car community on youtube as it did anywhere else, your weird bias runneth over
what a silly baby! foxtrot alpha is about military issues. don’t let the door hit you on the way out
Financial deregulation in the complex derivatives market could easily lead to a massive investment bubble. Deregulation in banking means that the safeguards put in place that allowed banks to safely merge and not fail could allow them to fail due to unscrupulous short-term profit chasing internally. I don’t think…
Nooooo it is not 54 years of cool. Lame in the 70's, extremely lame through the entire 996 generation as all the pedants argued air vs watercooled. Even Top Gear somehow managed to get it right by putting it on the uncool wall. It’s fine right now, but it’s aging and entering the point where the guys driving it are…
they’re going to tank. there are too many of them made and too many people trying to be cool with them right now. as soon as those guys become dads the 911's completely stop being desirable for at least 10-15 years. it’s 100% like the old dude muscle car market. once the demographics of the market turn over,…
Absolutely this. Lord r/personalfinance has no idea what he’s talking about if he wants you to dump $10k into index funds right now. What a joke.
tbh, it would be udderly ridiculous if we measured specific output in cowpower rather than horsepower.
I love the sound of not reading idiots’ posts when they clearly tag themselves as hyper-partisan fools with their first sentence.
Ok, you can personally pay the $20 billion worth of symbolism. I’m going to fight it and the absurd war on X (drugs, terror, immigration) money pits at any and every turn and by any means necessary.
I use race ramps wheel cribs in my driveway. Alternatively you can build cribbing out of lumber, it will just be heavy and annoying. Lifts are great, but cribbing is a lot nicer than jack stands. I use crazy 6 ton jack stands sometimes, but normally the 12" cribs are plenty and my car is pretty low.
40% of illegal immigrants from mexico come in via plane. Tunnels are also used to move them in because the border is pretty well watched. More come in via sea as well.
what the fuck is this
Part of me is sad that we just culturally appropriated the shit out of drifting and now youtube is full of American kids drifting miatas and 240's and covering them with stickers. It’s like we packaged up something unique and rammed it through the American assembly-line mentality and now it’s this big ubiquitous…
Uhhh nope. That second meme image is full of unsourced nonsense and is racist white surpremacy garbage. Debunked, but good try! https://www.reddit.com/r/politicalfactchecking/comments/3uxu0e/when_adjusted_for_population_size_black_people_in/
Temple has had problems for years because they aggressively buy up housing and displace the surrounding community. A lot of aggression around there is due to this. Philadelphia overall has an issue with roving “flash mobs” in part due to gentrification and in part due to poverty, socioeconomics, etc. Neither are…
please provide concrete numbers on how lowering the corporate tax rate will encourage so much growth and taxable income in the US that it will completely offset all external (including social and environmental) costs incurred by a higher tax rate. we’ll all be here waiting forever because you can’t.
The US business…
It’s not sarcasm if you got past little baby first year econ micro/macro in college. Externalities and social costs aren’t factored into immediate growth measurements.
