Don’t be so niggardly with your word count. Be expansive! Let the words flow through you.

Sad that anyone even had to clarify what’s going on, but given how proudly and aggressively ignorant a lot of Americans are about anything outside of their bubble...
While it would be a decent cost, they saved all the tooling and made videos for the production line. It would be the “easiest” production start up. The problem would be they would try to update the systems and I’m sure that will add 10 years and billions to just getting it back.
Not to be an annoying POS, but the F31 is the wagon variant. F30 is the sedan and the F30 LCI is the face lifted version.
Just FYI: F31 = wagon, F30 = sedan
Amazon doesn’t really get adversely impacted as much as networks because they don’t rely on ad revenue commercials nor do they rely on the show for subscriptions. Instant Video is still mostly a carrot to get people to subscribe to Prime. Maybe one day, Amazon will have enough original content for a standalone video…
I have no dog in this fight, but as the music industry tried to weasel around with, “For how that translates into revenue” is a very suspect phrase...
Don’t hate the players, hate the game! Why do you think people have been calling for flat tax code?
Do you take deductions on your taxes? Write off your mortgage interest?
That’s why I don’t get the hate for Trump avoiding taxes.
As long as they’re both following the laws as written, then no. If the breaks are available, take them. Whether they should be there, or not, is a different discussion, that really goes down a rabbit hole.
How is Trump not paying taxes on his jet? A lease back still has one company recognizing revenue while the other recognizes an expense. The net of those two amounts is either income or a loss from an annual operating standpoint. The line about avoiding sales tax was a change in state law that had nothing to do with…
The OP is right. I contribute to my 401K because I don’t have to pay today’s taxes for another 30+ years. I contribute to a 529 for my kid so I don’t have to pay federal taxes on the capital gains and dividend growth. I opt to buy a house because mortgage interest and property tax deductions reduces my housing cost…
You know what else is the law? All the tax breaks that people take. You’re not intelligible for tax breaks because you’re not wealthy. They exist for you as well, should you be able to use them. Even with their tax breaks, the top 10% of earners pay something like 95% of all taxes. Most “poor” folks don’t pay a dime…
I guess you’re the guy writing the treasury an extra gratuity every year, right?
your outrage is pretty nieve
Couldn’t agree more. How many of us would pay more in tax when there is a legal way to avoid doing so. If you say you would you’re either a much better person than I am or a liar.
This. People who can afford good advisers will never overpay taxes and will go the extra mile to reduce their tax liabilities. No one in their right mind would overpay taxes.
Also, people need to stop calling it “tax dodging”. The strategy is called tax avoidance, which is legal (and encouraged, even by the IRS!). Tax…
Only a dumbass would pay taxes if there was a method in which they could get away with not doing so. Welcome to the tax code, it’s convoluted for a reason; and that is, so that the politicians that created the thing and all it’s modifications can take advantage of whatever they want. If regular citizens take advantage…
