I know it will vary depending on how many sports ball games there are, but I have actually tuned into NBC just to see the start. But, 30 minutes doesn’t really stack up to 90 minutes of pre-race, an hour of pre-qualifying, 30 minutes after qualifying, and a half hour midweek review to boot.

If they gave us the Sky commentary I’d strongly consider getting ESPN somehow.

It’s a shame we can’t get Sky in the US.

Wait, people actually watched F1 on TV in the US? I haven’t been able to watch those pedantic squabs since I discovered SkyF1 in 2015. I got tired of them explaining DRS, ERS, and tire rules, etc every single race. Not to mention their pre-race coverage that consisted of the warm up lap...

It’s the worlds best fan film because the fan has access to a real production studio.

At least we have Seth McFarland. Maybe we can see a serious Union ship in a few years.

The beard came slightly before the 4th pip. I think he didn’t shave his head until the beginning of 4

The real atrocity isn’t the SVT badge, it’s the dealer sticker. How could you not call out that bullshit?

Bet it’s a bad automatic.

Mx-6, 626, and Probes had atrocious automatic transmissions.

So now Jalopnik needs to get a couple flood damaged Prii and validate the math.

Verstappen in Brazil 2016. It’s like he had a personal dry line around the outside of everyone else.

Many states do let you. If you had to register and insure your scooter, why would you bother? Also, there are a lot more Honda or Suzuki dealers than Kymco.

Or get a new 250/300 that’s a real motorcycle for only a little bit more with financing and dealer support. This has all the downsides of a scooter combined with the downsides of a motorcycle (cost, insurance, and registration). If you want a runabout, get a real scooter.

I recently bought an SV650 and rode it 200 miles home. The following day I went to ride it to get coffee and quickly found the side stand switch wiring was chewed up. I wiggled it enough to get going, but the bike died as soon as I got too far to push it back home.

Just put anything else in it and take out the batteries. Hell, just make the current engine power the wheels. If you can make it way less than two tons it has to be an improvement.

US: I’ll take a Hayabusa

What if you get a subsidized purchase price or free insurance? Maybe you get a lease and get free miles while ads are playing? Don’t think companies will do this? Take a look at the Amazon tablets with “special offers”.

Maybe Teslaor GM can buy them and use the platform for an electric runabout. Would be better than a Smart car.

Diet Coke is a legacy product. People that didn’t have a choice between Diet and Zero got used to Diet and now like it. Plus, Coke doesn’t have the greatest track record with reformulations of their products...
