And many good women watch squitbangs.

First of all, just because something isn’t classified as BDSM doesn’t mean it isn’t BDSM.

Agreed!

I’m truly sorry you had to go through such pain as a child.

Nothing is better at forcing an industry to change direction than a bunch of lawsuits. That’s what the porn industry needs.

Many people are uncomfortable with various forms of BDSM, and the gangbangs you’re describing would fall under that category. However, many participants in the BDSM scene would argue that once they are outside of the bedroom, you’d never be able to tell them apart from your average dentist or kindergarten teacher. We

The Deen case bothers me and should be looked at very carefully. No one should be subject to a sex act they are not 100% entirely comfortable with, ever. Period.

Porn actors are just that- actors. They’re playing a part. Some porn is rough and some is gentle But role playing- even BDSM or gangbangs- is just that. As long as it’s 100% consensual and no one gets hurt, psychologically or otherwise- a gangbang is harmless.

Most likely, they’re all around you. You may be meeting bad guys, but good people- men and women- are everywhere.

Porn where the actresses are over 18, are told exactly what they will be doing on the set, and agree to it.

There are guys who are extremely respectful of women but who like (consensual) gangbangs (not gang rape), for example. So yes, it’s possible to raise boys who watch all kinds of porn but still believe in consent.

The problem is, one cannot have a porn czar who decides to allow sensual videos but to ban gangbangs. Once you go down that road, you could wind up with a ban on, say, gay porn, or S&M, etc.

That would be hard. However, one person’s porn is another person’s art, so banning porn would lead to all sorts of unintended issues.

Yes, it doesn’t mean that porn should be illegal (that would be insane on so many levels) but I can’t fault Smart for feeling the way she does.

They really should. Some problems really are this easy to solve. Every study (and practice) on the planet has demonstrated that free and unfettered access to sex education and reproductive health for women literally crushes poverty rates. More than trade policy, tweaking taxes, factory jobs, or anything else.

Now, if we could only offer free birth control- along with mandatory sex education- we might begin to make a serious dent in national poverty.
