Stupid muggles! Good luck, witches! ♥

Wow, that is so lovely! What a great gift for yourself. Congrats on the bar!!! That's wonderful about your hair, too. :) Jo was such a great role model (and Winona Ryder in the '90s was everything).

Oh, your poor friend! In my case, it certainly does! I feel much more secure knowing that I have a pretty reliable and effective way to keep nausea and vomiting at bay. I also keep a six-pack of 7up on hand in case I must vomit (if I am able to drink anything while in the throws of nausea). Vomiting is much more

Thank you so much for the resources and for sharing, rentaduckie! *recovering emetophobe fist bump!*

Right?! I also saw it in the theater (as a tween) and promptly fell madly in love! Such a wonderful film and adaptation of the novel. The focus on the inner beauty and character of the March women was certainly influential in shaping my conception of myself as a human being that happens to be female gendered.

YES. I tried to find a clip of that, but to no avail!

Oh, I am so sorry! That is awful!

Watermelon is wonderful for rehydrating. Also, as long it is not contraindicated, an anti-emetic such as Promethazine (OTC in most countries but by prescription in the U.S.) can be a lifesaver for persisting nausea after vomiting, or for preventing vomiting altogether.

Interesting! I hadn't heard that, though I can totally see it. Love the Divinyls, too.

    1. Bryan Cranston getting down to Erotic City is the best image ever.

    Zip Code 00000 for C00000L.

Yes! And I feel weirdly nostalgic about '80s-era NatGeo ads.

It really is! That's lovely. I (a bi-girl) totally had a crush on her/wanted to be her. I had my own videocassette copy of Pump Up the Volume in elementary school. I would watch it all the time and sometimes imagine what it would be like to grow up and be Nora-ish (which I did).

    Yes. ♥

AMAZING. I saw Lollapolooza the same year. :)
