Iggy Azalea is the WORST! Her contrived "thug" image (and appropriation/stereotyping of aspects of black American culture/music) is at best laughable.

That's lovely! I hadn't known that she was in that! The most recent thing I saw her in was Starting Off in the Evening, which I thought was wonderful.

So sad about Linda Rondstadt and what a bummer for Corey Feldman. That guy has been through some shit. :-( I'm thinking Richie Sambora, on the other hand, is going to be okay.

    Jezebel Summer 1987 Edition ;-)

Lynn Hershman Leeson (0fficial site) made a film about Ada Lovelace starring Tilda Swinton! It's a kind of experimental meta-/dual-narrative about Lovelace and about a contemporary female computer scientist attempting to revive her via genetic engineering and coping with sexism in her field.

Fascinating! My comment in response to "olal" (also here in the grey) copied below:

JUST read this about Matt Damon after reading your comment. From the NYT's Elysium review, as quoted by Sentence Me on Facebook:

    Happy Belated Birthday, BRIMSG!
