I'm so heartened to see another female driven sex comedy. For a Good Time, Call . . . was a lot of fun, and I was disappointed that it didn't receive more attention. Though I'm ever skeptical, this looks promising! Anybody have any other female driven comedies/sex comedies to recommend?

Indeed! Divorced of the hand of the belligerent crackpot on which they reside, those gloves are both rad and exquisite. She also owns these boots, which some might say are, oh, I don't know, gaudy or gauche, but I think they're fabulous.

Well, why not! It really was a great show. Love that line and DHP's delivery of it! (Love your username, too, BTW.)

    MOST definitely. :D

Oh geez! Sorry to hear that. What an infantile cad! But you've definitely made it! And, oh, that's quite a tantrum the little buffoon is making, isn't it?

Excellent! About her look of disgust: I thought so, too! Though her verbal response is measured, she clearly finds the laughable assertions laughable. (Somebody, make a GIF!)

In the wake of the email avalanche they've come under, UNM and his department chair have responded to Miller's tweet! (Since my new post about this will probably stay in the grey, since it's so late, I thought I might share the news here, too.) Huzzah!

NEWS! Miller's university and department chairwhose area of research is body image and eating disorders (!)have formally responded to his tweet.

Me, too! I watch it in its entirety every few years (or, at least, listen/half-watch while doing other stuff around the house). I just finished another round, and I'm tempted to have another go at it already! So few series are as utterly and impeccably funny, smart, and delightful.

Since I was just up in the GIF thread . . . I think this also deserving of a GIF reply!

Marvelous! Thank you so much for sharing. According to Tweeter and cognitive neuroscience researcher Dan Lurie's (@dantegeek) reply to Chamber's response, Miller's department chair, as Lurie put it, "fittingly, studies obesity and culture," and, according to her UNM profile, has published an article titled "Body size

I am so sorry that happened to you! Disgusting. Unfortunately, having been covered (just barely) by Medi-Cal during childhood, I can relate.

Seriously! One of the first things a black/white biracial friend in a very liberal but very white PNW town said to me—out of the blue and entirely unprovoked by me— was that she was mixed black and white, just to get that out the way. How shitty is that to be so constantly bombarded by questions about your race that

Fat Booth pic? Really?! How louche, Ryan Lochte.

I'm so glad you shared this, Laura and Jezebel. This issue is especially close to my heart (though it should be to everyone's—we are all at risk), because my mother-in-law died—in her 50s—of an infection contracted in the ICU.

This soup is REALLY good. I often quadruple the recipe and freeze a portion. Happy cooking, whatever you make!

Poor thing! That must have been painful. This reminds me of "Free the Toes," an amusing spoken word piece/poem performed by the Australian poet Ratsack (yup) on Def Poetry Jam several years ago.
