Probably one thing is that there was actually space to build a big, modern track with huge facilities there, near a major city. A track that people can actually get to and where they can see more than 50 feet of track at a time.

Problem is that you need to have demand for a very expensive race track first. One F1 race per year doesn’t cover the costs. I’m surprised at how few tracks there are near huge cities in the US, maybe there would be enough customers for more tracks in general. But even then you need a ‘super track’ to hold an event so…

The car is slightly longer and wider, but actually lower than the previous car. It also weighs around the same. But yeah, this is not your grandpa’s Civic, and even the Fit looks enormously tall next to the early 90's Civics.
