My buddy just bought a beige (not crack black) loaded 2008 ESV with 80k for $18 grand. Depreciation is a bitch.

You know...if Caddy would/could really commit (which they won’t) could execute a lot of interesting design language onto an all new platform away from GMC / Yukon / Denali, etc. design strategies. They would have to commit to less than 50k units a year to really pull it off.

However the caddy would drive the longest and give the least amount of problems. I see 10 year old clapped out scades being driven around everywhere by local weed dealers.

I think that this has only hurt VW & Audi, but I also think this may cause more government testing of diesel models before certification. I would not be surprised if the VW / Audi V10 diesel get an in-depth scrutiny next.

Not really. You make something a hybrid to boost acceleration, not reduce emissions. If you’re cruising at speed, all the energy necessary to resist drag and friction is coming from the engine, regardless of whether you’re using a mechanical, electric, or hybrid drive train. No reduction in emissions there. If you’re

12 cylinders and electric motors seems counter-intuitive. The trend seems to be for smaller displacement, smaller cylinder count motors as part of hybrid systems. Of course no mention has been made of the displacement, but with the current thinking about optimal size being 500cc per cylinder, that’s a 6 liter engine pl

Tougher European emissions coming in 2017. It will increase cost, lower performance and fuel economy

Yup this could be as damaging to the US Diesel market as the GM 5.7 Liter diesel, It took 30 years to get over that POS

I think it would be smaller than the Titan. But I still agree with you.

I never thought the time when a proper high-end toyota sports car would be less likely than a Hybrid-powered new NSX would be.

When you say, “I need it tomorrow. Cost is not a problem.”

I don’t know what kind of person gets an Aventador in matte brown, but I want to be best friends with them.

Exactly. Who the hell wants to pay “luxury” money for fwd.

if I remember correctly, that has the shitty transmission Tav mentioned...2007+ is the way to go

It’s actually more expensive in the long run because you absolutely can NOT buy any Quattroporte made before 2007. Mid 2007 they introduced the ZF automatic, before that they used the Duo-select single clutch manual which cost nearly 5 grand just for a new clutch, the pumps constantly break, etc. Your repair bill will

Those wheels = oil changes every 25,000 miles with Am/Pm motor oil, 87 octane from “USA Gas” and a mountain of unrepaired electrical gremlins.

Aw, those wheels are totally wrong there. Other than that, I’m in.

2006 Phaetons ARE supposed to be more sorted but I’m not willing to test that theory. In past, VW’s engineering didn’t get in the way of enjoying the car. From my past few experiences, it’s now a coin toss.

Finally managed to try the Gyro ones this week, completing the set. Reuben>B&G>Truffle>Gyro. Truffle were the ones I had the highest hopes for, so I was the most disappointed.
