HOA’s are terrible and petty. They keep neighborhoods looking nice but that comes at a price of being and annoyance. I was done with HOA’s after reading a few years back about one HOA (I believe this was in Florida as well) foreclosing on peoples homes due to liens placed on their property. Sick. I was done with my

Plus it leaves the door open for makes like Tesla to use these incentives and savings to come up with arbitrary numbers

I just know that, while laying there with that on top of her, she had to have just locked on to a fixed point on the wall and tried to not think about what was happening. Money is a hell of a motivator. Shes secured the bag!

Because we are past the point where there should be incentives to entice people into these cars. And due to automakers pricing them for the well off, the people benefiting from these incentives and tax credits are people who could afford the car outright without them. Not the everyday working individuals. Plus it

Yea its way cheaper to charge an EV. Laughably cheap from what I’ve seen.. But none of that matters in the grand scheme of things as this only applies to those who are owners already. The coming economic downturn unfortunate doesn’t bode well for EVs and their respective startups. Unless battery prices come down and

Thursday Lucid backed up its claim that the Air can rack up 400 miles on a charge by posting video of the prototype running from San Francisco to Los Angeles without a charge.

Could be this. But I dont see many buyers lining up for a limited run mid engineered sports car. From Hyundai. They could be messing with us and this is really something for Genesis where it would make more sense.

This is crazy. With it being Hyundai you know its going to be a killer value (with killer depreciation as well). Im wondering is this going to be just an N specific model, or is it going to have regular and N versions as well?

Nothing will save them until they can bring in younger buyers and make cheaper bikes. Until they can make bikes that are $3-7k that are fast efficient and look cool, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda etc are going to keep kicking their ass. And even if they did, dealers will ensure that they wont sell any by turning off anyone

They get a Hybrid ST line? Thats weirdly interesting.

My thinking was that the F-150 Hybrid wouldve gotten the Hybrid setup from the Explorer with the 3.3 V6. Paring a Hybrid system with the Ecoboost though could make this thing be pretty quick.

You forgot the impulse buyers. People who want a something new just because. Thats where I’m at right now.

They are all getting desperate. Desperate to the point that people with the most shittiest of credit should try and go get a car right now if they need one or are able to. I mean of course its not ideal but these dealers are desperate.

Yea they do buy cars. But they generally cant afford them or get put in shitty loans. A server making good money because of tips shouldn’t go out and use that to get a loan to buy a car. But they do it. But yea this whole thing is going to have ripple effects. How far reaching they are though will remain to be seen.

I know its been good for mine. Limited access of having places to go spend money has helped.

California. Dealers have been sending out emails and having advertising that they are still open for business and you can still buy. If you can.

Right. They are a worse version of what people thought (or rather what) Walmart did.

Same. Luckily I still have my job (working from home), but dealers are going to get desperate. Which meals deals can be had for those of us that can take advantage of it.

This is my hope as well. A consolidation of dealers and a whole top down change of the model itself. Everything needs to be online. There only needs to be physical “dealers” ( or they can be changed to stores or centers depending on what the brand wants to call them) for inventory thats kept in the back or is able to

It has stopped buying though. Like I said to someone else, the smart dealers adapted. Shifted to online everything. E signing, contactless delivery etc. Everything thats happening has just highlighted how time consuming and useless the dealership model was. And its making dealers do things to survive that they should
