Ok, but are you on track towards being the president of an organization in your field right now? What are your chances of being president of some place if you get this PhD, and is the effort it takes to get it (which is a whole lot) worth those chances?

What do you plan to do with a PhD that you're not already doing now with a high paying job?

Kind of. I wouldn't exactly describe it as "crushing", but there are definitely times when it takes two or three tries to sit in a position that doesn't feel awkward and occasionally painful. Often it's because of badly designed seats, or if it's so hot out that our balls are sticking to our underwear.

Do you need a mouse to play it, or is it doable with just a laptop's touch pad? It's a giant pain to use a mouse with my laptop on my bed, so I hate games that I can't play with only my laptop.

Does it get harder later on?

Attitudes have shifted, because our relationship to it has shifted. Here, she is not asking enough questions of younger women, or trying to understand their experience—while simultaneously railing against not being heard.

No matter how you read it, it's a stupid way to get Mjolnir out of Thor's hands and into F!Thor's hands, stupider because they refuse to tell us what exactly Fury whispered. Like they couldn't think of a decent reason for Thor to lose Mjolnir, so they didn't bother making one at all, and just glossed over the whole

Being meta isn't an excuse to write characters totally OOC, and I don't care what you say, super criminals surrendering to super heroes "out of respect for what [they're] doing" because they're female is retarded, no matter how meta you're being. Besides, the fight with Absorbing man might have been sarcastic, but the

The fight with Absorbing man and Titania in issue 5 is probably the best example. First, Creel starts off the fight off saying things like "damn feminists are ruining everything", despite never being misogynistic before, then he completely jobs F!Thor, despite being a long time Thor villain who should be able to last

Xavin is agender, not trans. His race of shape shifters don't have genders the same way ours do, so he thinks nothing of shifting from a form with a penis to one with a vagina. The only reason he stays in female form more often is because his fiance is gay, and only attracted to him when he does. If not for that, he

So does anyone here actually read this comic and want to share their opinion on it?

We don't know why he can't wield Mjolnir (it's not just because he's being a jerk). Fury whispered something to him on the moon, and suddenly, he wasn't worthy of it any more. Which means it has nothing to do with what he did, he's unworthy because of what he knows. Which is completely fucking stupid.

I read the article, and skimmed the SSB site, but neither has any new information which makes me think anything fishy is going on. The SSB site's mainly just pathos, reasons why they think SB should stay open. Blog hasn't been updated in two weeks, and the last official update was 3 days ago, and basically just said

What new information?

Sounds to me more like they don't see any point in trying to save it.

Any attempt to fundraise to keep a school open would be the triumph of hope over expectation ($20 million? Lol). Yes, they are being irrational.

There are quite a few companies whose opinions aren't awful. Not many that pay their workers a decent minimum wage, I suppose, but as long as you don't draw your line in the sand at that particular issue, there's no shortage of things you can buy.

Yeah, it's not really the same thing, like, at all.

Anyone here ever tried spicing their own rum? I made a pair of bottles early November, forgot about them, and decided spring break was the perfect time to pull them out. One bottle I made with orange peals and some generic spices (cinnamon, vanilla, all spice, and probably a few other things), and it turned out

Good economic theories tend to more or less predict human nature, which is why they're good economic theories. The ones that aren't are the spherical cow theories; the ones they teach you in econ 101 to give you a basic, general understanding of the economy, because it would be way too difficult for freshmen to learn
